Harrison rarely had bad nights since he's been at Camp Campbell.
He was finally away from his parents.
Away from his room.
Away from the locks.
Away from the closet-
Uh, yeah.
His parents decided that isolation was the best solution to make sure that Harrison couldn't hurt anyone else.
He hadn't meant to make his brother disappear! It was an accident!
And well, being in a cramped, dark tent at night was sometimes a bit...anxiety inducing, to say the least.
Flashback inducing.
Terrifying.
But hey, that's okay!
It's..it's okay!
Everything's okay.
Or, at least, that's what he tells himself.
"Harrison?" Asks Nerris from the other side of the tent.
"Yes?"
"Are you okay over there? You sound like you're takin' lotsa damage; your breaths are all fast and stuff!" She remarked, sitting up in her cot to look at the magician.
Harrison sat up along with her, "I'm perfectly fine! Just uh, a bit anxious, is all! I'll be fine in the morning!" He faked a smile as he said this, leaning back on his arms.
"Well, why're ya' anxious? Is there a boss you need help defeating?" Nerris asked in her usual nerdy way, quirking her head to the side.
Harrison chuckled at this, "No, not a boss. Maybe my parents? But no boss." He shrugged, looking to the side.
"Oh. Why your parents?" She questioned, tucking her legs up to cross them.
"They think I'm dangerous. They don't exactly trust me. So uh, they lock me in places a lot to keep me away from them. No big deal though! They..they still love me! I think." His fake smile dulled, unable to resist the fact that the corners of his mouth were dipping down into a frown.
"Hmph, well they're just being meanies!" Nerris protested, "I know that you're great! And I trust you, even if they don't!" She gave a cheeky smile, holding out a pinky.
"Pinky promise!"
Harrison linked his pinky with hers cautiously, "Pinky promise."
