The only thing Crocodile has an irrational fear of is seagulls.

Just seagulls.

Why? Well...

When he lost his fool's errand of a battle against Whitebeard, he was stranded on floating wreckage with his crew either dead or dying all around, his left hand mangled beyond saving.

The seagulls flocked to the wreck in numbers, with thousands of beady little eyes and greedy little bellies. They ate his crew like little seafaring vultures, picking them clean down to the bone in some cases.

They would swarm him, too. Hurt and weakened by the seawater as he was, he couldn't even begin to fight them off.

The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was the ruin of his left hand being picked at by sharp little beaks.

He hates seagulls. He's terrified of them. He can't stand them. Has nightmares about them. Will go out of his way to avoid them.

But he won't kill them. Killing seabirds- as any sailor or pirate knows- is bad luck.

Luen gets a little twitchy around the furbys when they're moving/making noise but he's pretty curious about the robots otherwise. Two very good pink boys🦐🐦
