I saw this person's "response" on my feed and I just have to say how downright fucked up this is. Seriously. Like I wanna keep my mouth shut about this but I just can't because this is mask off ableism. In its fucking entirety. No matter where you stand on this whole situation, I think you need to be pissed off about this right here. Read it, read it again, read it a third time, tell me if you deem that shit acceptable.

"You only have paranoid delusions if you're guilty of something" is a fucking insane thing to say. I have paranoid schizophrenia. I've had paranoid schizophrenia almost my entire fucking life, before I was radqueer, even when I was an anti. That shit is not acceptable in any circumstances to say, I don't give a FUCK how they feel about 8iid, this statement is so horrific in any stance. Im scared of everyone I interact with, unless we're close, being a cop or an agent or part of old churches that brainwashed me or fucking old anti friends coming to try and force me back. I have those delusions constantly. I'm not guilty of shit. I was fucking abused and made into a lamb for them and that trauma is what my schizophrenia latched onto.

People have abused me and used my paranoid schizophrenia against me to say similar shit when I was in cults. Religious and non religious cults. Abusers, exes, ex-friends, people who hurt me. People like this (these antis) let people like them (the cultd and abusers) get away with it cause they do NOTHING but victim blame. They don't care about victims. They never have.

You never fucking say that to someone. Especially is she is actively telling you it isn't a delusion and is gathering proof, because that fucks with peoples heads. It makes people doubt their reality and doubt what they know they're seeing (general sense). I hate the people who say shit like this and act high and mighty about being so above others. It's ridiculous.

This is the shit that makes me believe that antis have zero values of any kind despite preaching they do. No. They don't. They don't care. If they'll treat her like this, imagine how they'll treat you, viewer. Absolute dogshit.

I know there are other realities, but I am conflicted. I feel trapped and like only this reality exists, but at other times, it's like what's the meaning of anything if everything else exists and what's the point of getting old and time passing by you? You'll get forgotten and won't be able to think ever again, won't be able to perceive anything.

Hmm, honestly I feel like that trope hasn't been touched on enough. I mean-- a big part of the "appeal" of the yandere is absolute (mostly one sided) obsession, right? So having a person return feelings, in any caliber, isn't commonly written about. Noncon/dubcon is also tied into the yandere genre a lot too; cnc in any form in the yan community is hella common. Part of the reason why I love it! It's nice having someone obsessed with you first. But, I really enjoy the slow burn, "takes a while to realize my love" kind of trope! I feel like when I think about this... I think of desire. The yandere wants to be desired; If their darling is already worshipping the ground they step on, and is begging for their attention, there's no need to go after them. This trope reminds me HEAVILY on the bully/self righteous/celebrity yandere stereotypes. Yan is treated like royalty, believing its everyone's duty and a treat to worship them. So when a person who was just another love letter in their locker, starts to lose interest, it's like a shot to the heart. Maybe anybody could be a darling; maybe multiple people at once, if they all start to drift away from the yandere. Suddenly that bashful secret admirer stops?? It's like having withdrawls; so used to the praise and love, its agonizing to have it ripped away. The yandere could have never met the darling, could have never even cared. But now it's different; something is so clearly missing, and they need it back. Maybe by the time they catch their darling, that obsessive need for attention will be gone, replaced by someone new. Or, maybe darling is the only one they want the love from. it was so normal and regular like any crush--, but they don't think so. They crave praise, and approval from their darling to know that they still care. And if they don't have feelings anymore? A yandere won't hesitate to "force them back." It's like trying to gain approval from your peers and loved ones: you want to make them proud so bad, but they just don't give a care in the world. If darling indulges them, that may actually be their downfall. Yandere will grow bored; used to this attention once again. Or possibly, they finally realized that darling was the one they needed. They couldn't see it before, but now they understand how willing and loving their darling was; someone who matched their energy. This kind of yandere, I see as either the prideful or the puppy dog. They'll either refuse to admit that they want your attention, never mentioning how obsessive they are, or they'll absolutely crowd their darling. They'll be begging, pleading for attention again, and if darling wasn't weirded out before, they sure will be once friends start disappearing. The prideful yandere might send their darling notes of their affection, playing it off as someone else of course. They might blackmail friends and family to subtly hint about how their darling's dwindling affections were causing a ruckus. When you have all your family and friends convincing you to be with someone, it's bound to be messy. A yandere with a pride complex might not admit anything until they finally crack; their darling will be lost and confused, wondering why they are chained up in the basement by the person who claimed to be annoyed by them. I personally adore the prideful, almost tsundere-like attitude of these kind of yanderes. They might be sweet and gentle at first, knowing how much they mean to their darling. But the process will be gruesome and unkind, they'll force their darling's attention onto them and them only.

This is not a rant but just a general realisation Ive had today. I was thinking about it and I've been reading fanfiction for over a decade, maybe 13+ years or so. It played a huge role in my childhood, through my teenage years and now as an adult. I always found it as a source of comfort, a reserved part of my life that played a huge role of making me feel relevant.

Today I was browsing to find a happy fanfic and I realised that a lot of fanfictions I read while growing up and now, teeter on making the 'Y/Ns' or OCs extremely depressed loners, coming from abusive households, self harming themself, being bullied or just genuinely an OC that cant love themself until they find their partner who fixes/heals them.

Reading these types of fanfics while I was a prepubescent teen had affected me negatively growing up because I did go through some of the things these OCs did and it made me heavily dependant on finding someone who could save/fix me and Id have a happy ending.

I didnt know what self harm was until I began reading fanfiction and it is how I started because I didnt know how else to deal with being depressed and I used to think, "thats what Y/n does"... I mustve been 14 then. Like I found myself expecting a similar outcome for Y/n from these fics for myself.

As a minor, I had really put myself in an OCs shoes, convincing myself that my life was like theirs, that no one understood who I was or that I was an irrelevant piece of shit unless someone was interested in me. And it would end up being worse when someone I liked, didnt like me back....

It took me a long time to figure out that I needed to love myself before anything else. Im not saying this affected everyone like it did me. I do enjoy reading angsty stories now because I dont attach myself to the OCs like I used to when I was younger. I genuinely enjoy how well people craft them and carry storylines.

I just wish when I was younger there were more books/fanfics with positive OCs/storylines that promoted a healthier mindset for minors and other readers. We live in an age where majority of us suffer from mental health illnesses and often we seek comfort from stuff like eating, music and mostly for me, fanfics.

I hope to see more positivity in fanfictions soon because I genuinely feel its important for the minors out there that read fanfiction for comfort

Jarvinen. Of all the people on the island. He could only think of less than a handful of others that he would have rather not gotten assigned to, the smaller Jarvinen at the bottom of that list. Alex had requested Carlos Jarvinen to be brought down for him, he had to stop by to collect the rest of the doors. The room had been emptied per Alex's request, lest for a few buckets of water, a box of electric equipment, a table and chair pushed to the side of the room and a chair in the middle of it. He walked into the room, an air of calm surrounding him as he placed the heavy tool kit upon the table with a thud before looking at Carlos. Alex pursed his lips, his gaze heavy lidded as he deliberated on how to take the next few steps. It would be perfect if this went easy, just a few questions with a few honest answers. But Alex didn't expect to receive any of that. Of course he had a fail proof back up plan.

Alex pulled the chair over to where Carlos had been strapped down on his own chair, his arms tied on the armrests and his feet to the legs of the chair. Alex double checked all the knots, confident that Carlos was pretty much immobile before speaking. "I'm assuming you know exactly why you're here, yes?" Alex sat down opposite Carlos, leaning back in the chair and folding his arms across his chest. It was easy, maybe too easy to slip into this role. It was one Alex was familiar with. Interrogator, judge, jury; executioner. "Let's not talk pleasantries first, I would prefer to skip all of that and find out exactly what you know about the fire."

If he could get away with this not getting messy, Alex would prefer it, but he also didn’t exactly know this royal well. He wasn’t sure on how quick he would be to speak, of course he seemed the kind to cave under any sorts of pressure, but people have surprised Alex before in the past. He slid his eyes to the toolbox he had carried in that was placed on the table and then looked back at Carlos. "This will go one of many ways, and I'm hoping you'll be cooperative enough for it to go one of the easy ways." Alex drummed his fingers on his chest, his eyes on the Prince. He had interrogated and tortured men and women much older than the royal before him. And all of them with success or until they were incapable of speech. Alex drew in a small breath before nodding at Carlos. "So, what do you know about the fire?"
