The fact that r/fdc's current pinned post is about how they want you to stop saying "as someone with x diagnosis"???? At this point they aren't even trying to pretend they care about "real mentally ill people".... I mean it was always obvious, but why would they be upset about someone who they deem as a "REAL MENTALLY ILL PERSON" when they "set the facts straight"?

Depression ocd culture is getting nagged (sometimes) by ur mother ( who is a clean freak, sees a tiny drop of dirt, and thinks the house is dirty) "for not helping around home" even if she knows I'm diagnosed with depression and ocd , that I only can afford study, shower, eat ( binge eating bc i feel bored and empty) bc unfortunely in my culture any information about depression or any mental disorders,neurodivergencies is basically misinformated, or ppl don't talk about the symptons and behaviours enough, and of course demonization 🤩

Personality: Remi is a very cold, quiet, and reserved person. Remi is typically very annoyed and aggressive. He is an extreme introvert that perforces to keep to himself. Remi often comes across as very mean and bitter, pushing others away from him. Remi is very insecure about his disability, he is aware of how other people treat him differently, constantly reminding Remi of how 'helpless' he is, reminding him of his limitations. Remi desires independence in contrast to how others view him.

Dislikes: Crowds of people, sudden loud noises, and belittling behavior

Backstory: Remi and his twin sister, Taffy are the second-born children of Queen Zelda and King Link of Hyrule; born eleven years after their first-born Princess Elise. While Taffy was born perfectly healthy and able-bodied Remi was born completely blind. Despite Remi’s disability both Link, Zelda, and Elise love him dearly. Even though men are typically given priority over women for line-to the throne, Rauru suggested Zelda give Taffy and Elise further in line over Remi due to his disability. Rarur argued that his disability made him unable to perform many of the necessary tasks for a king. Zelda argued with him at first but eventually relented. Early on Remi started to show magical potential, beginning with his audio premonitions, and later developing his pyrokinesis.

Early on Link bought Remi a seeing-eye dog named Sky. Sky and Remi quickly became the best of friends. Sky gives Remi more freedom and space on his own and Sky’s playful, friendly personality cheers Remi up when he was feeling blue. Remi’s relationship with his sister Taffy is very strained. She means well but, she often babies and belittles him for his disability and treats him like he is completely helpless.

. Out of Universe Creation Notes: Each of the Zelink kids represents a different piece of the triforce in their personalities; Elise is courage, Taffy is wisdom, and Remi is power. Remi is meant to be a character who could turn evil at any time.

Like I'll start to bring up a stymptom of mine and im hit with

No I'm mentally ill. I'm depressed. I have anxiety. Im autistic. I have adhd. I have depersonalisation disorder. RSD. APD. Misophonia. And I'm sick of this. I just want to be taken seriously.

It blows my mind that 'anti npd' is a real, commonly used tag among ableists. How ignorant do you have to be to be against a trauma disorder that people have literally no control over?

I think to be anti-something, the thing you're against needs to be, at the very least, a thought process or a belief that can be changed. Not a mental disorder. It's like being anti depression and anti anxiety. Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
