Arat pushes you against the wall, her kisses as fierce as you’ve imagined they’d be and you kiss her back, your senses swimming in the floral scent of cheap perfume. You wonder if she’s wearing it for you, you wonder if she planned this very kiss and relish in the idea that she did.
When she slips her hand into your leggings you don’t stop her. Your feet scrape against the floorboards, allowing her fingers to glide over your sex as you lose yourself in electric tingles. You’ve wanted Arat, you’ve wanted her in every moment since she’d arrived to your home in Alexandria and you can hardly believe that she wants you back.
You moan, the sound swallowed by her lips as her fingers inch inside your wetness. Arat knows exactly what to do and you let her lead, your head falling back while she works her tantalising magic, expert fingers curling, scissoring to all the right places as her thumb presses against your clit.
“You’re mine now,” she commands and you surrender willingly, easily, like the walls of a castle crumbling to the gentle breeze of summer wind.
“I’m yours,” you promise.
When your orgasm begins to curl she slides to hers knees, taking your leggings with her, paving the way for her tongue to tease your swollen clit.
“Oh God,” you gasp, her fingers thrusting hard and unrelenting, her tongue dancing faster and faster until your orgasm bursts across your body, lighting you on fire with sensation, your legs trembling every ounce of strength before you’re sliding down to where she kneels.
With the taste of your arousal still on her lips she kisses you, more gentle this time, “all mine.”
Event: @superprincesspea 's TWD Cube Challenge! Title: The Woman Character: Negan TV: The Walking Dead Warnings: None. Photo/GIF credits go to the original maker/owner The kids of the Sanctuary tiptoed down the corridor. Randy, one of the children who claimed to be big and bad teased the smaller kids, daring them to see if they could find Negan and the woman with the cane. “Chicken’s! Every last one of ya!” he taunted. The small group was huddled together, shaking like leaves. There were rumors of a woman that Negan kept hidden. Simon wouldn't even mutter a word. Some said she was deformed, some say, a witch. It didn't matter though, Randy still painted a horrid picture of the woman to the children. The children jumped, hearing a loud thud and growling. Another thud followed, making the kids shake with fear. “Goddamnit!” the female voice cursed. One child gasped, “She said a bad word!” Randy leaned over the kid's shoulder, “That's cause she's a bad woman.” “I want my Mommy!” “I want to go home!” “What the fuck do you little pukes think you're doing!?” Negan's voice boomed, making the kids scream. “Mother fucker!” he yelled, covering his ears. “Who's wonderful fucking idea was this, huh!?” Negan demanded, looking at all the kids. Immediately they pointed to Randy who looked ready to cry. “Why?” Negan's voice was low as he bent at the waist to stare at Randy. “Be-be-be-” “Spit it out boy!” Randy jumped and started to cry. Some of the other kids snickered, but otherwise kept quiet. “Someone better start talking before I drag you back to your parents!” The smallest of the bunch went to Negan and tugged on his pant leg. “What half pint?” “Randy said there's a mean ol’ lady who looks like a monster up here,” Negan rocked back on his heels, “Is that so?” “Yes sir,” the child responded. Snapping his fingers, Negan smiled. “I have an idea! Let's go visit this woman… this monster!” The kids were wide eyed. Grabbing the neck of his shirt, Negan led Randy to the front, the boy crying and flailing his arms. “No, no! Please don't feed me to her, please!” “You're in for it now boy!” Negan opened the heavy wooden door, revealing a small library. “Y/N! Get out here, baby!! Negan yelled out. The children listened to the thumps, seeing the bottom of a cane and the monster's feet. Randy tried to jerk away, but Negan held him by his scruff. A long, black dress swayed as she came down even further. A cloak covered her hair and face as she came to the last step. She limped as she came closer, the cane used to help her balance. “Negan?” she asked, her voice soft. “Found these sheep roaming the halls. Figured I'd at least feed this one to the wolf,” Negan smiled, pushing Randy forward while holding his neck. The boy was pale and sweating. Y/N clicked her tongue, “Come now, Negan. Stop scaring the kids,” She reached up and removed her hood. The kids gasped again, then looked to Randy. “She's not a monster!” “What a pretty lady!” “You should take them back to the fountain where they play, Negan.” One of the older kids spoke up, “I know who you are!” Negan watched as Y/N closed her eyes. “Who is she, Laura?” “My Momma use to take me to the theater. She was the Princess in one of the plays!” “Enough,” Y/N said, softly. “That was a long time ago. I don't dance and sing anymore,” The girl, Laura, looked sad, “I'm sorry Ma’am,” Smiling, Y/N went over to a basket and grabbed an apple for each child, “Go back to your games and families.” She paused when she got to Randy. Bending at the waist, she looked him square in the eye, “I know what is said about me. Rest assured, nothing will happen to you as of right now, but there are others who have monsters within them and some won't be so lenient with nosy people.” He sniffled and nodded, taking the apple that was given to him. “Now apologize,” Negan said. A round of I'm sorries were said as each child turned to leave. Y/N palmed a small card and called out to the girl who recognized her, “Laura?” “Ma’am?” she approached Y/N. Slipping the card from her cloak pocket, she gave it to the girl. “You can have this… to remind you of better times,” Laura’s face lit up as she looked at Y/N, “Thank you so much!” Negan saw the first genuine smile form on her lips in the longest time since her accident. “You're welcome, but this stays our little secret, okay?” Laura nodded and whispered, “Yes Ma'am,” Y/N watched as the girl skipped from the library. His hands resting on her waist, Negan kissed right below her ear, “You used to dance and sing, huh?” It was bittersweet to remember those days before the outbreak, “Yeah…” Negan carefully turned her around to face him, “Maybe sing for me one day?” Negan's felt honored as she gave him a shy smile, “Maybe one day.” She brought his head down for a soft kiss, enjoying the closeness of the man that saved her life. Warnings: language and mild walker gore
You tightened your grip on your Beretta 92, pointing it towards the ground and safely away from the other Saviors in front of you. Your eyes scanning the trees surrounding you, on high alert. Your gaze landed on Negan sauntering about 20 feet ahead of you, barbed baseball bat draped over his shoulder. This was the first run you were allowed to come on and you’d be damned if you were going to mess this up. You wanted to prove yourself.
Earlier that morning, a couple of scouts came in with news of a crashed plane site about 3 clicks to the East. Though visible storm clouds had begun to form miles away, the Savior leader was confident they’d make it back before it hit. Negan rounded up his usual posse of Arat and Simon as well as a few others. You included.
The group in front of you slowed and you could make out the crash site through the trees. It was the shredded metal carcass of a plane much smaller than you anticipated. But you were certain, there would be some useful finds in there.
Negan gestured to Simon and Arat. “You two, check the plane. Pick it fucking clean.”
“Yes sir,” SImon replied with a playful salute then he and Arat disappeared into the jagged wreckage.
The Savior leader turned to the rest of you. “Marcus, Tommy and Fat Joseph, check the surroundings. Leave no fucking stone unturned.” His intense hazel eyes fixate on you. “Star, you’re with them. Don’t go too far and stay on your fucking guard.”
You grimace at the nickname but nod your head obediently and begin walking away. Weeks ago, Negan had spotted the black shooting star tattoo on the inside of your right wrist. Since you weren’t one for much verbal communication, he dubbed you with that charming little nickname. Though you supposed it could have been worse. It could have been Fat Joseph.
You were so lost in your own thoughts, you didn’t realize you had walked about two hundred feet from the site, barely hearing the voices of the other Saviors. Inwardly scolding yourself you start to turn around when movement caught the corner of your eye. Raising your gun, you quietly move towards where you saw it when you stare up in surprise. A walker, groaning and reaching towards you, was stuck in a tree. Strapped to the shredded remains of a parachute which was hopelessly tangled in the branches. Disheartened, you begin to turn away when you notice something. What looked like a full fanny pack bulging at the walker’s waist.
You smiled. This was your chance. You could get the pack down and bring whatever was inside back to Negan. Thinking perhaps you could maneuver the walker to remove the pack, you grab a long stick, flicking a large green beetle off first. Jabbing at the walker’s midsection, the stick goes right through the rotted flesh and connects to the tree behind it. You freeze when you hear the sound of angry bees emerging from behind the walker. Fuck! There was a nest hidden back there. The noises the walker made must have drowned out the sounds of the hive. Without hesitation you bolted back towards the wreckage, hearing the deafening buzzing right behind you. You feel at least three sting you painfully and you yelp as you hear the familiar voices of the Saviors. When you burst into the clearing you manage to yell “Bees!” as you run past your group.
This was bad. Very very bad. You could already feel your skin welting up and your throat beginning to close. The earth was tilting and causes you to run smack into a tree, no doubt earning a painful black eye. You roll onto the dry leaves, wheezing, vaguely hearing footsteps rapidly approaching you. Thankfully, it seems as though you outran the hive.
“Fuck! What’s wrong with her?!” You hear Negan yell over you.
“Damn, I think she’s having a reaction to the stings,” Simon’s voice answered, though it sounded as though you were hearing him underwater.
“There was a first aid kit on the plane! There has to be an epi pen in there,” Arat said frantically and then sound of retreating footsteps followed. Your vision was fading in and out and your tongue was swelling up.
“Why the fuck didn’t she TELL us she was allergic to fucking bees?” You hear Negan ask the others angrily and you want nothing more than to respond. You never wanted to be a liability. You were so stupid. And now you were going to die.
Your fingers grab at your throat and you could no longer breathe. This was it. In a world of walkers, you were going to die by fucking bees.
Suddenly you feel a sharp stab into your upper thigh and you’re able to breathe again.
“That’ll work for now but she needs to see the doctor. We need to move her.”
“Fuck! Ok Fat Joseph, pick her up and we’ll-”
As your vision is slowly returning a deafening metallic crack is heard through the trees, startling the shit out of you. The loud sound rings in your ears and Negan lets out a string of angry curses.
“Lightning struck the goddamn plane!”
You feel the thick arms of Fat Joesph picking up quickly and throwing you over his shoulder.
“Boss! There’s a fire!” You hear Arat say and there’s a mad scramble to gather supplies.
“Fuck! Just our mother fucking LUCK! Fat Joseph, run ahead and get back to base. Take Star to Carson as soon as you get there. Everyone else, grab whatever the fuck you can and let’s move! Smokey the goddamn bear isn’t here so we better hope the rain takes care of this shit!”
You bounce uncomfortably on Fat Joseph’s meaty shoulder as you begin to drift away. Your last thoughts before you fell unconscious being of sheer humiliation and defeat.
A/N: This is my submission for @superprincesspea‘s TWD Story Cube Challenge! This was a lot of fun to write even though it was difficult getting under 1,000 words. :D
My cubes as I chose to interpret them: Turtle, directions, clock/time, flight/hover, moon, magnetic, justice, fountain, and envelope.
Words: 998
Warnings: Language and sexual innuendos
Characters: Arat, Fat Joey, Dwight, Simon, and Negan
A grunt escaped Arat’s lips as her eyes fluttered open and met the shimmering moon above her. She pushed herself up off of the grass and noticed she was surrounded by large rose bushes as far as the eye could see. The scenery didn’t bother her as much as her attire did.
Arat was wearing a simple blue dress with frilly lace at the bottom, white stockings, and a dainty pair of black flats. She spotted a fountain a few bushes down and made her way over. When she peeked at her reflection in the water, she saw a large blue bow tied in her hair. A snarl broke out across her face. When she found the culprit, she’d give them the ass kicking of their life.
As she stalked toward what she hoped was an exit from the flowery maze, she noticed a familiar man walking a few rows down. It was Fat Joey, and he was wearing a nice waistcoat and suit. He stared into the glass of a pocket watch, shaking his head and muttering “I’m late,” to himself. The only thing that unsettled Arat were the bunny ears that sprouted from his hair.
Without giving a warning, Arat sprinted towards him as fast as her legs would take her. Joey’s ears perked up and his eyes widened as he saw her close in. He dove behind a rose bush and Arat followed.
Arat stumbled and lost her footing, landing on her back with a groan. She clutched her chest as she tried to steady her breathing once more.
A soft chuckle broke the silence and Arat sat up with a jolt. She was met with the bright dawn of morning and a long table adorned with a multitude of teacups in various sizes. She’d really lost her sense of direction now.
“Looking for me?” a voice above her asked. Arat jumped in surprise when she saw Dwight hovering in midair, legs crossed and his hands folded on his chest as if he was lounging on a sofa. A wide grin spread across his face, and Arat noticed that he was dressed as he usually was, except for a pair of purple cat ears and a tail.
“Fuck you Dwight,” Arat seethed, standing up and brushing the dirt off her dress.
“That’s Cheshire Dwight to you, missy,” Dwight said and cocked his head towards the table. “And that over there’s the Mad Hatter.”
One of the high back chairs swiveled around and Simon appeared. He was dressed in a smart suit and an askew top hat covering his typical mussed up hair.
“What’s shakin’, bacon?” he asked and waved his hand in greeting.
Arat gave a confused look and waved back. She turned to Dwight and raised her eyebrow. “Be honest here. Did we take LSD last night or something?”
Dwight grinned and hovered over to the table. Arat followed and watched as a cup of tea fixed itself and floated over to Dwight as if it was magnetized. He took a sip and glanced over at Simon, who had poured a mountain of sugar up to the brim of his cup. “You gonna have some tea with that sugar?” Dwight asked playfully.
“They don’t call me mad for nothing,” Simon said as he sipped the sugar out of his teacup as is.
She rolled her eyes and swatted Dwight’s arm. Dwight shrugged and stated, “The Red King is expanding his empire. Better enjoy this for now Arat, because we’re going to have to get back to work very soon.”
As if on cue, the lights of the sun went out and covered everything in blackness. When the light returned, the trio were standing before Negan, sprawled out on his giant red throne. His usual black leather jacket and boots were instead a brilliant shade of crimson. Lucille, his barbed wire bat, sat in his lap. There were smaller seats beside him where Negan’s five wives sat with disinterest.
“Obese Joseph has acquired evidence of the fucking extravagant usage of sugar products in my kingdom,” Negan drawled, and withdrew an envelope from inside his jacket. “We need all the supplies we can manage for our battle with the White King Richard Grimes and you’re wasting it all.”
“I’ve done no such thing,” Simon stated and crossed his arms. Negan opened the envelope and showed them the picture inside. Arat snorted when she saw the photo of Simon in a bathtub full of sugar. Simon only shrugged and said, “You can’t stop free love, man.”
“We’ll let Sir Anthony decide,” Negan said and clapped his hands. Joey brought over a turtle on a pillow and Negan leaned his ear down to it, as if the turtle could speak. Negan sat back up and bellowed for all to hear, “Sir Anthony the Justice Turtle decrees that the only way to repent for your crimes is to have a gigantic orgy with the wives and myself! Except for Joseph. He may only watch.”
Before Arat could speak up, Simon stomped his foot and crossed his arms. “That isn’t what happens!”
“Is too. I’m leader and I declare an orgy!” Negan yelled as he pointed Lucille at the group like a scepter.
“Stop highjacking my story, you dick!”
Arat blinked and was brought back to the poker table she was sitting at. She remembered that Simon had pulled out his journal earlier and started reading the story he wrote about the four of them.
“It’s not even your story, you completely ripped it off,” Dwight sighed.
“It’s not plagiarism if you change the names,” Simon said. “You just don’t understand us artists.”
“Artist, my ass! The fuck kind of artist doesn’t include an orgy in their story?” Negan asked.
Arat sighed and stood up from the table, leaving the bickering men. She smiled to herself and thought that while she would rather have been the Red Knight instead, it was nice of Simon to give her the starring role.
TWD Story Cubes Challenge: A Light in the Darkness
A/N: I did a thing for @superprincesspea’s TWD Story Cube Challenge! God, getting this under 1000 WAS a challenge. ;)
My cubes were: flower, sleep, letter, lightening, flashlight, bridge, key, magnifying glass, and fire.
Synopsis: Negan sees a light in the distance and follows it until he finds its source, a woman taking refuge under a bridge. (This is pre-Saviours Negan while he’s traveling alone after the world ends. As always, based on Comic!Negan)
Words: 999
Warnings: Language. This is pretty tame for me!
Characters: Negan and an OC named Rose
Story Cube Challenge: A Light in the Darkness
Unsure of exactly what had woken him up first, the flash of lightening or the crack of thunder, Negan groggily rubbed his eyes and sat up in the pitch blackness. Even the moon was dulled by the clouds as the storm moved toward his location rapidly. The wind picked up, causing leaves to chatter above as his eyes searched his inky surroundings for signs of threat.
When he first spied the light flashing in the distance, he thought for a moment that it was more lightening; however, it was too low to the ground and too frequent to be a natural occurrence. This was man-made light.
Intrigued, he stumbled to his feet, stepping over the dying embers of his fire as he walked toward the light’s source. The velvet grass sloped downward gently toward a valley of wildflowers that banked upon a small river. Traversing the flowing water was an arched stone bridge that seemed to have been plucked out of a fairy-tale. It was from under the bridge’s arch that the light periodically flashed, breaking the darkness and leading the large man to its source.
As he grew nearer, he could hear a soft hitching sound. It had been so long since he had heard another living human’s voice that he scarcely knew at first what he was listening to, but eventually he realized that it was the sound of a woman weeping. The light flashed again and now he could make out the silhouette of someone hunched on their knees under the bridge, flashing the light. What he couldn’t understand is what the hell they were doing.
Softly, so as not to startle the woman, he cleared his throat. In response, he heard a frightened yelp and the sound of someone scurrying further into the darkness.
“I’m not going to fucking hurt you. I’m just curious about what you’re doing under there,” he bent down to look under the stone arch, but it was far too dark for him to see anything.
“Who are you?” came a small voice, followed by a sniffle.
“I’m Negan,” he said simply, “Who are you?”
“I’m Rose,” the light came on, illuminating the woman from below. Even with the harsh shadows distorting her features, Negan knew that she was lovely. Her small hands gripped a massive flashlight while terrified and tear soaked eyes peered out at him from her hiding place.
“That’s a very pretty name, Rose. Mind telling me what you’re doing under here? Seems to me that you’re trying to get yourself found.”
“I’m not. I wasn’t. I was trying to light a fire, but I lost my matches,” she stammered, “I thought I might be able to do that thing where you set paper on fire with a magnifying glass and the sun…only its night, so I was trying to use the flashlight…but the batteries are dying.”
“Mind if I join you under there and we can see about getting that fire started?” he asked.
“I-um…” she hesitated for a moment, “Why not? You know where I am now anyway.”
Getting onto his hands and knees, Negan crawled through the damp grass, keeping his head low to avoid smashing it against the low ceiling of the makeshift cave. Once he was close enough to the woman, he moved into a sitting position.
“So, what do we have to work with here?” he asked as his eyes took in a small bundle of wood that was clearly too wet to catch. Scraps of white lined paper adorned with handwriting had been shoved underneath.
“I don’t know if you’d get this to light even with the sun out, my dear. The wood’s way too wet.”
He watched her face break at his words as more tears sprang to her eyes; she resumed sobbing.
“Oh shit! What’d I say? I’m sorry…Why are you crying?” he asked, holding his hands up by his shoulders with the palms splayed in an attempt to look non-threatening, horrified by her reaction.
“The paper was a letter from my husband. It was the last thing he wrote me before he died. I never wanted to destroy it, but I was so desperate to start a fire, and it was the only paper I had left,” her sobs deepened.
“Fuck, that’s a tough break,” he said, trying his best to sound sympathetic while marvelling at the woman’s lack of survival skills. How the fuck had she made it three months into the apocalypse like this?
“The only other thing I have is the necklace he gave me on our first anniversary together,” she pulled a delicate, silver chain around her neck revealing an antique key that had been concealed under her top, “I suppose I’ll have to ruin this eventually too if I last out here much longer.”
Negan sighed and shook his head, already cursing himself for what he was about to ask her. He knew that he should crawl his ass right back out from under the bridge, wish her the best of luck, and be on his way. People like her were usually only good at getting themselves killed in the dumbest ways imaginable. But as he regarded her creamy skin and soft eyes, he felt his defences melt slightly, and he opened his mouth to speak.
“Rose, my dear, it seems like you might need some help out here. Am I right, or am I fucking right?”
Eyes flicking downward, she sniffled again before answering, “You’re right.”
“I know I am, Rose. Now, I can lend you some matches and they’ll get you through the night, but it doesn’t really solve your problem long term.”
“No…”
“So, why don’t you come with me, and we’ll keep each other company. I’ll make sure you stay warm, and you can make sure I have someone to talk to.”
She paused for a long time before responding, “Y-yeah. Ok. Sure, Negan…Thank you.”
“I have a feeling we’ll find a way for you to thank me…”

Genre: Fluff
Pairing: Jesus x Daryl
Warnings: None
Words: 1,000 on the dot!
When he finds the sheet of scribbled instructions on his pillow, Daryl is confused, to say the least. There's a list of brief directions above a single number with a riddle, and at the top, written neatly, is "Daryl's Personal Scavenger Hunt".
For a long while he wavers, chewing at his lip, pacing back and forth in his room at Hilltop. Who the hell came up with this little game? Is it a joke, someone just trying to make him look like the dumb redneck everyone thinks he was? Daryl isn't stupid but he's never been good at riddles. Still, he can't help but let his gaze sweep to the first clue.
1. In cartoons I’m seen over heads when there’s a great idea.
He snorts. He and Merle didn't watch many cartoons as kids - not like they ever had cable. He remembers mama taking him to the dentist once, before things deteriorated beyond repair, and they'd had cartoons on in the waiting room. He'd loved it.
He's tempted to throw the paper away without a second glance and to say to hell with it. But for some reason, he doesn't. Slowly, his gaze strays towards the ceiling, where a glass globe surrounds the light bulb within. Easy.
Pulling over a chair from the little table in his room, he stands on it as he reaches to unscrew the globe, not expecting the round little item that tumbles from within. He fumbles but manages to catch it; it's a rock the size of his palm, almost egg-shaped and brown in color with little ebony flecks, smooth save for the small emblem carved carefully by knife into one side: a lightbulb.
He's seen rocks like these before, beneath the water in creeks and in the beds of rivers. He rolls it in his palm for a moment, and then his fingers pluck another piece of paper from the globe, which he unfolds to scan.
2. I use my hands to hurt; I use my hands to heal. I use my hands to bring life; I use my hands to kill.
"Easy," Daryl snorts, unintentionally becoming invested in the game, and proud that he so effortlessly solved the riddles, simple though they were. He'd always loathed being called stupid during his childhood because of his silence, his patchy, dirty clothes, and the rumors that circulated surrounding his drunken father.
From there, he's off. He finds Carson in the infirmary, the man smiling knowingly when Daryl enters, handing him another stone - this one gray and slightly smaller with a sad, sickly looking faced carved into the side - and another clue.
He finds a stone with a pyramid in the food pantry behind a pile of canned goods that have been stacked in a triangular shape, one with a magnet perched on the tailgate of one of Hilltop's trucks (and beneath the faded "my kid is an honor student" bumper magnet, another clue). He finds one in Maggie's office nestled behind her globe with the same image sketched in great detail on the rock, one with an arrow inside of the extra quiver of crossbow bolts kept for him in the armory. He finds one with a pair of dice in the game room, and the next clue leads him outside, but the riddles are becoming more complex and puzzling.
That only means they're more rewarding when he figures them out. He smiles when he accurately traces the clue to a rock with a parachute on it that's weighing down one of Enid's familiar balloons near the gardens.
When he reaches the last clue, it's dark out, and slivers of moonlight pierce the clouds, falling across the long strands of his dark hair as he bends his head to read the writing.
You've come to the end, and for that, I am proud; meet me in the middle of the fields beneath the clouds.
Daryl is surprised to find that he's...disappointed. The hunt is coming to an end, and he'd found that he'd enjoyed it. But at least now he will discover who set it up; the thought makes his heart thunder in anticipation.
His boots thud gently against the earth as he strides through the large, grassy field beyond the garden. He can't see anyone else there, not yet, but his pale blue eyes scan the ground until he sees it, placed precisely in the middle of the field. It's the smallest of the stones, the smoothest, with tiny chips in it that reveal bright blue innards. There is a crescent moon carved on the front, the shallow lines blue as well.
So invested is he in studying the stone that he doesn't hear anyone approach, and the sound of a footstep directly behind him makes him hiss and whirl.
It's Jesus, that damnable smirk on his face. Daryl lets his gaze slide across the taller man's figure, taking note of his long khaki pants, his pale button-down shirt, his neatly combed hair.
"This you?" Daryl asks gruffly, holding up the speckled rock with one hand and pointing to his bulging pockets with the other. Jesus nods, and Daryl feels his heart give a funny little jolt. "Why?"
"I wanted to do something special for you," Jesus says simply, taking a step closer until Daryl can smell the clean, soapy scent of him. "You figured out all of the riddles. I'm impressed – but I knew you would. You’re smart."
And shit, if that doesn't make Daryl's heart stutter warmly, filled with pride. Jesus is speaking again, asking, "so which is your favor - " but Daryl's lips stop his words in their tracks as the lean tracker crushes his body against Jesus', a sudden, thoughtless movement as their lips slowly meet again and again before parting.
Reluctantly, Jesus draws back to gaze at Daryl, his lips curled into a smile.
"This one," Daryl says in a low rasp, holding up the little speckled rock. "Blue's the same as your eyes."
