I have once again translated an important piece of literature. It is not pleasant to look at but I produced it while researching and thought it is too valuable to not be shared. It is a translation of a chapter from 'Tafsir al-Burhan' by al-Hisham al-Bahrani, Q.S., on the Surah al-Ikhlas.

Glad I left New York some years ago.

Upon the emergence of Covid-19 throughout Muharram, it’s really taught me the powerful effect upon taking children to the masjid and listening to the Museebah of the A’immeh.

We don’t realise how striking an environment is to somebody until you’re forced to make do with whatever you have.

This Muharram, we’re away from the Masjids or we’re attending majālises with great restrictions. Let’s always be thankful for the love of the Ahlulbayt within our hearts to continue remembering Hussain (as) even through this pandemic.

This year will be a Muharram to remember.
