Newly eighteen, senior year of high school, a new home, a new town, a new school, and many new people. As summer came to a close everything began to change for you. The big sign read “The city of Forks welcomes you” as you drove past it towards your new home. You didn’t know much about the town but something about it made you feel watched, like the forest was watching you, or maybe something in the forest. You shrugged off the eerie feeling as nerves, everything was new, so everything was scary, that was all. Forks was definitely going to be an adjustment that’s for sure. But who knows, maybe it’ll surprise you or maybe someone.

Welcome to Forks! Where absolutely nothing is lurking in the forest and everyone is definitely human.

I'm general I try to avoid talking about the actual actors in the films because the characters transcend reality.

However,

Robert Pattinson is the strangest little man. I find it hilarious how much he hates the films and the source material given how much of a weirdo he is. The more I learn about the dude the more I'm convinced Hardwick saw him and went, "yup, this dude watches girls when they sleep." Like, the guy is just completely unhinged but completely unaware of how weird he really is. I'm not convinced any other MMC casting would have done the little weirdo that is Edward Cullen any favors. Pattinson is next level.

That being said, when they inevitably remake twilight, I truly hope they cast another unknown little weirdo. Keep Pattinson's legacy going.
