Hey Tumblr!! I’ve recently joined the DHMIS Two of Us au discord server, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!! On discord I have been discussing a TOU au character of mine I made!

His name is Watterson! And he’s a living, sentient plush tiger! He’s one of David’s experimental creations. He was once a person too!! He accidentally caught David disposing body parts, and told his roommates, so David had to get rid of him. He decided to turn him into a plush, not a puppet, that made it so he couldn’t talk or move. He didn’t want him to tell Rowan anything, because Watterson was surprisingly able to keep most of his cognitive functions.

I’d like to think of him like a normal DHMIS Roy-like character, he mostly sits with the stuffed animals or stays with Lesley and Roy.

Anyways, he’s just a little oc I thought about! With the help of my pals on the discord server!

Hey Bunny... So, I know you haven't messed with Two of Us in a good long while, and I know you don't necessarily have plans to, BUT, would you ever consider just throwing out a redesign of David and/or Rowan? And, I mean, I absolutely love their designs, I don't think I would have hyperfixated on this for 3 years if not lmao, but I feel like it would be interesting to see if current day Bunny would change anything!! If you wouldn't want to do that and/or don't know if you would, could you say maybe what you wish you had or hadn't done for their designs when you made them? Also, have an amazing day/night if you do see this!!

Things I woulda done differently include:

Making David sorter and fatter. He was always meant to be kinda short and chubby but I was bad at drawing it

placing the scars/patched more thoughtfully. I really didnt put much thought into the placement the first time but I was too cowardly to change it lol

Sillier clothes! The white dress shirt is too boring, he needs his whimsey

Give Rowan his googly eye beanie back. His initial doodle had one but idk if I ever drew it again cause I hated drawing hats.

Differentiate Rowan's face shape from David's more and remember that he's meant to have facial hair

Gave him a pride pin cause I think he'd wear one.

Two of Us AU in 2024? Absolutely. I had a sudden urge to revisit @bunnieswithknives’s DHMIS Two of Us AU. It’s a super amazing DHMIS role swap and was actually the reason I made a Tumblr account in the first place (my first post on this account was actually Two of Us fanart, but it’s kinda old so I guess this is a redraw?).

Anyways, I love this AU so much, it was a huge inspiration for my own Cast Chronicles AU! I definitely recommend checking it out!
