Hellooooo, my beautiful followers (or whoever of you remain)!! I am back from the depths of university to offer you all some redesigns of the characters of my old Indigo Park AU, Cast Chronicles. I made this redesign of Finley back in April and only recently finished it up after seeing an ask. He's still a sleep-deprived loser lifeguard, but I wanted to make him look more his age (21), hahah. Anyway, I should really post here more often. I've made a bunch of art and would love to share it. Let me know what kind of stuff you guys would want to see from me because I'm fairly certain both fandoms I was in back in the day are fairly dead hahah (but I think Indigo Park is getting a second chapter soon, no?)

RFTS!AU CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Heyo everyone. I am back from the dead with a sporadic piece or artwork that I made at 1 AM and a new art style.

I'm trying to get rid of my same-face syndrome, so I've been experimenting with my art.

I've missed drawing these two traumatizing love-birds sooo much. I decided to draw them a bit differently from how I used to. I especially changed up Sueño because I wanted to make him look a bit more un-earthly (even in his human form, haha).

It was longgg overdue for me to draw something that isn't incredibly angsty for this AU so... this is probably the best we'll get (though I did add some small touches of angst sprinkled here and there... like the subtle green lighting coming from the bottom (: )

GUYS, I was looking through my old sketchbook from December 2023 and found these old Wish doodles I made inspired by this YouTube video by ArtisanTM. I remember being super hyper-fixated on the concept behind this Wish AU and watched the video like 20 times.

When the creator didn't make any more content for this AU, I decided to just make more stuff myself. Since I'm posting my art now, I may as well share these pieces with you all (please don't judge the super bad quality old art. I swear I've improved since then hahah. Maybe I'll do a redraw of one of these pages one day).

Also, as some of you may know, I've been working on my own Wish AU, which also takes inspiration from that video. I've made a good amount of pieces for the AU, but I'm not a very good story writer so idk if I should post it or not. Though, I'd be curious to hear what you guys think, Wish fandom.

Yo everyone wake up, @oh-shtars just dropped a new RFTS!AU lore post. I sketched this super quickly after coming home from orientation today (I'm gonna have so many classes this year guys, I'm low-key kinda scared).

Here is my part of the art trade with @ask-train-trio ( @lunozapp ), where we each drew a piece for the others Indigo Park AU (like the one I did with @ask-indigo-park-swapped!! It's all part of my master plan to unite the Indigo Park Tumblr community mwahahha).

I decided to draw @ask-train-trio 's Indigo Park OC, Ranglore, as if he were a character in my Human!AU (this was my excuse to give him a silly human design).

I feel like he'd work in the Entertainemnet department at the Park, but he probably wouldn't take his job super seriously 😅. I feel like he'd also be one of the older members of the cast, like maybe in his 30s? Idk just my silly little headcannons haha.

And here's a little bonus doodle I did that was based on a panel from this Train Trio comic.

With all that being said, sorry for disappearing for a while, guys. I'm starting my first year of med school next week, so things have been kinda crazy 😭😭. Hopefully I'll be able to keep on posting content once the school year starts.

I think I crack the lore here. Correct me if I'm wrong:

Randy (Rambley) wanted him and his friends to live eternity. With his sickness, he probably didn't have much time left, and whatever shady deal the ompany is doing without Issac's permission, he accepted without regrets. And soon his friends will join them theater they like it or not.

Side note here: I really love your chronicles Au, hopefully we get more wholesome moments.

One thing I’m surprised you got right was the fact that Randy is was ill. He spent a lot of his childhood hoping from one doctor to the next because no one knew what he had. But don’t worry, he’s all good now! The wonderful Dr. Ꞩⱥⱳɏēɍ was able to fix him right up!

ALSO something important that I want to clear up about Randy (because I think a good amount of people are under this impression): He 100% did not want his friends to end up the way they did. I’ll admit that he’s still kinda in the wrong with what he did, but he didn’t mean for any of this to happen. He just has bad abandonment issues and questionable coping mechanisms. That’s all, I’ll say for now 😊.

Nah they don’t hate each other. They’re just two friends (?) who constantly get on each other’s nerves (and who may or may not have had a messy breakup a few years back).

Even after it happened, Louis (Lloyd) could never bring himself to hate him.

Oh no, they made him emo! *Ahem*... so remember how I mentioned I'd be sharing more wholesome content for the Cast Chronicles AU? Well... I got distracted and made this instead. I've been working on more designs for the cast's hybrid-monster forms. Designing Finley's sea serpent hybrid was especially fun. He's looking kind of intense in this piece, though, in the AU, he's cannonly the angriest of the group after what happened.

Two of Us AU in 2024? Absolutely. I had a sudden urge to revisit @bunnieswithknives’s DHMIS Two of Us AU. It’s a super amazing DHMIS role swap and was actually the reason I made a Tumblr account in the first place (my first post on this account was actually Two of Us fanart, but it’s kinda old so I guess this is a redraw?).

Anyways, I love this AU so much, it was a huge inspiration for my own Cast Chronicles AU! I definitely recommend checking it out!

Randy has been acting weird recently. And not his normal kind of weird, either. It’s almost as if he’s sick or something. He’s leaving work early after every shift and is constantly avoiding any kind of small talk with others. Yesterday, I found him in the dressing room mumbling something to himself. It sounded like he was talking to someone but he was the only one in the room… I’m worried about him. I’ll try talking to him tomorrow.

I’m a sucker for the Tsundere x Nervous Flirt trope.

The Fallen Star AU belongs to @signed-sapphire . I love the dynamic between Asha and Cielo in this AU. The character designs are also chefs kiss (I especially love Cielo’s little rosy cheeks AAAAAAAA). This piece started off as a random doodle that I made a few months ago. I recently decided to clean it up a bit but then I went kinda overboard and made it into a fully rendered drawing 😅.

I think that I’ve made my rounds on most of the Wish AUs for now. At this point, I’m wondering if I should make my own Wish rewrite. I have a story in mind, but I still got the Cast Chronicles to work on. I’m not sure yet so let me know what you guys think. since i love murder mysteries, and in particular, the Benoit Blanc and the recent Poirot movies, i thought itd be really cool to try drawing Cast Chronicles in the style of a movie poster!! since im also using my achromatic askblog style, i decided to go wild with it since i didn't have to worry about colours as much.

some details im proud of under the cut!! :

- if you look in the penumbra shadows you can see bits of foreshadowing!! (haha. foreshadow.) since we still dont know much of how lloyd and salem dies i decided to keep them vague and not actually alluding to the actual death part, just to them in general. finley and mollie however do reference what we know of their deaths - rambley and salem are the only ones whos faces are completely covered and that was very intentional since they are implied to have known something the others dont :)) i love scary ominous foreshadowing - lloyds face is also somewhat turned away because as the second to last to disappear i think hed have some idea of whats happening. maybe not the full or even accurate idea but i think hes clever enough to have known hed also disappear sooner or later - my very clever use of red!! initially i didn't want to use colour at all but when the piece was close to done i tested putting red on the edges and really liked it so i decided to put in some symbolism!! a story whose name is covered in blood (as murder mysteries often are) and clueless characters in the dark, only seeing hints of the truth until its too late

YOOOOOOOO OMG THIS IS INSANELY GOOD!!

@ask-indigo-park-swapped I am blown away by your part of the art trade!!! You are sooooo talented wowww I love this so much, I am at a loss for words.

You really captured each character perfectly in your drawing. Just their body language alone already tells you a lot about how each of them are as a person. I especially love Rambley/Randy’s showman pose with the super cool dramatic lighting. And Finley’s eye bags are sending me 😭😂.

I also really, really love the symbolism behind the characters facing away from the camera. And OMG I know this is kinda a spoiler to reveal this now but like how did you guess that Lloyd (kinda) knew the reason behind the disappearances?!

I also love all the little details you included in the background. The little doodles of how each character met their end are really well done. And the tiny eyes looking down at Rambley are such a good touch AAAAAAAA I love it!!

OMG and wait… is Rambley holding Lloyd’s microphone?! That’s… actually really symbolic to a major plot point in the story.

And I really like the fact how you contrasted “The show that never ends” with “The show that SHOULD end”. I agree that the show should have probably e ended like… 60 years ago 😅.
