You may burn me at the stake, but does anyone else find it majorly OOC if characters that are shipped together immediately call each other "baby", "sweetheart" or "princess" instead of using the nicknames they have to each other in canon but make it more special.

Two-Face is probably just so fucking whipped for Bruce. Like he’s spent his entire life feeling like a parasite, being told he’s evil and needs to go, that Harvey cannot heal with him...but then there’s Bruce, who’s just like giving them both equal affection. Calling Two-Face by his name when he’s fronting. Accepting him as a part of Harvey instead of viewing him as something evil that needs to go away. Two-Face falls ass-over-teakettle and straight up tells Harvey, ‘If you don’t make a move then I’m gonna just ask him to marry me.’

Sometimes I'm glad that TwoBats/BruHarvey isn't as popular as SuperBat because some people already mischaracterize Harvey and Two-Face enough which makes me want to gnaw my teeth out. Imagine if it happens tenfold.

Bruce Wayne is framed for a crime and is sent to jail for it. Almost the entirety of Gotham thinks he did it, but Two-Face doesn't, so he breaks him out of jail and helps him clear his name

I'll write this as soon as I can and I love your idea. I'll probably set the fic in The Batman universe since that's the series and world I have the most knowledge of. Since Bruce is still a newbie Batman in that universe, I'll treat their relationship differently.

Harvey goes to Arkham because of his methods of getting his 'justice' after none was received due to the acid incident done by Sal Maroni. Maroni still goes to jail, but is held in Blackgate Penitentiary.

Years later, a criminal known as the Riddler wreaks havoc in Gotham. He meets Bruce who was sentenced around the same time due to "severely harming Alfred and Dory". They're both in a coma and it's unclear when they'll wake up. (kind of a similar situation with Sofia Falcone whose family claims that she's shown signs of insanity due to wanting her to keep quiet about the family's crimes). Given the Wayne's history with Arkham Asylum, the situation would be hopeless for Bruce.

Of course the two of them meet due to Two-Face feeling pity for Bruce and sensing the injustice about his sentencing in Arkham.

I hope you don't mind if I manage to fit Selina Kyle, Sofia Falcone, Oswald Cobb, and Edward Nashton into the story though.

Since the Riddler doesn't see any appearance of The Batman despite his clues and riddles, his crimes slow down and get delayed.

TLDR: there are three major plotlines.

Bruce getting sentenced to Arkham and bonding with Two-Face so that the two of them would escape.

Selina Kyle (and Jim Gordon) finding where The Batman has gone and piecing together his identity while trying to kill Carmine Falcone but stopping because he has information.

The Riddler trying to find where his beloved Batman went and trying to cause enough crime to get him to show up again. He works together with Oswald Cobb now.
