Hey, I'm Spector. This is a throwaway account dedicated to fandom shit so I can be as unprofessional as I want. Doesn't mean I don't have standards though.

I'm in many fandoms, but as of now I'm focused on Superman (2025) & The Batman (2022). Obviously I ship SuperBat but I'm also a multishipper. (Clois, SuperTerrific, TwoBats, BruHarvey, RiddleBat).

Also since I want to keep the rent low

• Fiction affects reality because fiction is based on reality and therefore fiction affects it.

• We really need to discuss the colorism and racism within fandom spaces because dear lord.

• Ao3 shouldn't have censorship but it should have better moderation because you can't exactly ignore fictional writren porn featuring child / child-like characters because even if it's fiction, you can't deny it doesn't affect people irl.

• Ao3 isn't a pinnacle of anti censorship & queer literature and shouldn't be treated as such. It's a place for fans and fandoms to share their writing & art.

• How you treat fictional characters tells me a lot about how you treat people irl (their identities, sexualities, race, etc)

• There really needs to be a discussion on how trans (ftm) characters headcanoned or not are portrayed as bottoms/subs (It's the bio essentialism)

I recently saw this edit on Tik Tok of like minds of Alex and Nigel kissing, the content was obviously AI generated, the creator labelled it as AI, and the comments saw nothing wrong with it. It was the vilest thing I've ever laid my eyes on.

AI isn't a tool, it's a leech that sucks out all our energy and creativity. Just thinking about them gleefully typing in the prompt and seeing nothing wrong with modifying images or videos to make people do certain acts... It's just immoral.

Thinking of Nigel disassociating and essentially becoming a blank slate for a couple of days because he was so sure that he was gonna die on that night with the gun in Jack's Alex's hands. He starts questioning his life and his "destiny". Meanwhile Alex is just keeping him alive out of a mixture of pity and understanding.

Sometimes I still can't handle the fact that there are low star letterboxd reviews of Like Minds for the wrong reasons. What do you mean you hated the movie cause "it's freaky", or "Nigel and Alex didn't kiss", or because "the movie had no point", or that "Hannibal is better, this is a waste of time". The world really is filled with media-illiterate idiots (and most of them come from Tik Tok)
