Logan “Legend” Nash. 20 years old. First born son of Mark Mardon, better known as Weather Wizard, and member of the Rogues. Logan joined the rogues around the same time as Axel Walker (Trickster ii).
Logan was born from Winnie, ex-prostitute and wife of Central City’s favourite actor Saul Nash. Logan was raised to believe he was Saul’s biological son, up until the day his metahuman abilities formed, and he discovered he had power over the weather (similar to his deceased infant brother Joshua).
Logan is a prodigy-trope character of mine, later shipped with Axel, which gives the Trickster a handful of character development that he so desperately needed. You know it, I know it, we all knew it. It’s been known.
In fact, these weren't his dogs; they were the test subjects of Dr. Freeze, who was also Leonard's mother's second husband. Before her illness, their relationship was rather distant and sometimes strained to the point of conflict. Leonard lived alternately with his mother and Victor in Gotham and with his father in Axis Mundi. Nevertheless, he received his education at the Gotham Officers' Academy (at the same time, Bruce, Harvey, Thomas, and Oswald, who were a few years younger, were also there).
So, technically, Leonard holds the actual rank of naval captain and is proficient in naval operations.
When Nora's illness worsened, Victor began trying more risky treatments, and his wealth quickly dwindled due to the arduous but expensive research.
Leonard, also a carrier of the disease, helped Victor, and although they were far from a father-son relationship, their shared misfortune with a loved one and their willingness to take risks and even break the law allowed them to find more common ground.
(Later, when Victor is finally sent to Arkham after his human experiments, Leonard takes his test dogs for himself: although they are slightly frozen zombies, their bites chill your hands to the bone, and their bodies tireless day and night, they are still good boys and girls, many of whom grew up in Leonard's arms. Incidentally, he managed to save Nora, but that's another story.)
I headcannon that Len looks JUST like his mother, I mean straight up cooy and paste, only difference being he's a man and a bit paler.
So now imagine s1 ep3 of the legends, when Len goes back in time to give the emerald to his dad to try and stop him from getting caught by the cops while trying to steal it, but things go a little differently.
Lewis is rifling through the refrigerator, trying to decide if he wants to eat the only food in it, a three day old bologna sandwich, or another beer, before he sits down to go through the blueprints he just laid out on the dining table.
He's nearly made his decision, the beer already in his hand and his arm moving to grab the sandwich as well, when he hears the front doors latch softly slide into place.
He moves.
He makes for the dining room, inent on grabbing the gun set on the armchair on the other side of the table. He just clears the door way, when he stops, turning.
There's a man.
In his house.
The gun and the intrusion immediately swiped from the forefront of his mind, replaced by confusion and a deep unease. His expression shifting in a way that mirrored his emotions.
This man... looked just like his wife. But not like a brother, she was an only child anyways, not like any sort of relative, no, he was almost identical, aside from the obvious. It was, uncanny, at least to him. Though he couldn't place why.
How was this possible? Standing before him was quite literally his wife, but male, slightly paler, and with tattoos...
The man stared, unmoving, unblinking, appearing as though he weren't breathing either. He held something in his left hand, at his side. Lewis spared a glance it.
It was the Maximilian Emerald, the one he was planning on stealing from the museum, the museum in which the blueprints were scattered across his dining table a mere three feet away.
As he looked back up up, he absent mindedly too stock of the intruder.
The man looked dangerous, wearing an appearance that, almost comically, screamed criminal. Shaved hair, dark clothes, sleeves rolled up to reaveal the aforementioned tattoos covering every inch of visible skin, reaching up through his collar and wrapping around his neck, and a scowl, a mean, mean scowl.
He met the mans gaze once more, and the realization hit him like an eighteen wheeler hauling 22 tons of copper coils. His face contorted to a look less of confusion and more of terror as he remembered genetics, he had a son.
A son he'd laid hands on. A son who had seen him lay hands on his mother. His wife.
His breath caught in his throat, his mouth suddenly feeling as though if he ground his teeth, he'd feel sand between them. He slid one foot back a few inches.
The man stepped forward.
"You stay away from me!" Lewis barely managed to get the words out. His hand going for his hip, only to come up short. His eyes darted to the armchair and back again.
The man was closer again.
Lewis scrambled back several feet, his hands coming up as if he could stop the man by sheer force of will. He could not.
For every small step the man took forward, Lewis took two large steps backward. His back hit the wall, fear shooting up his spine like a leather whip.
The man continued.
Lewis sputtered, trying to find something to say to ward off the man that he refused to call anything else, he came up short.
The man stopped, now standing where Lewis had just moments prior. The man raised his hands, transferring the emerald to his right, then set the stone on the table eith a quiet clack, never once breaking eye contact.
He stood, still unmoving, still unblinking, still almost not breathing, still staring at Lewis, for several, hour long moments, before slowly, silently, stepping back, 1, 2, 3, 4 steps before turning completely and leaving.
Lewis didn't know how long he stayed there, standing against the wall, terror written across his ugly mug. He slid down the wall, letting himself fall the rest of the way, landing on his ass with an inaudible uff.
He didnt notice the little dinosaur jammy clad feet run back up the stairs or the sound of the front door locking that followed.
But what if it’s the reason why Lewis targeted len when he was younger so much.
I don’t think it ever says what happened to lens mother but it’s clear she’s not around and hasn’t been for a while. Lewis either drove her away or he might’ve killed her. And poor little Lenny who’s identical to his mama is caught in the cross fire.
Now imagine when she recently left and Lewis so overcome with grief starts to drink heavily and while he’s drunk he sees len, who looks just like his wife, standing there.
A painful reminder.
A painful reminder that he needs hurt as away of his sick and twisted payback.
Scottish. Without a doubt he’s Scottish. There is absolutely no discussion about it.
THE TRIXSTER-
AXEL WALKER
I think axel would be half American, half Canadian but raised in America. His dad was the American one and his mother left before he really got to know her to much. Probably always thought he was American before he did a dna test as a joke and found out he was half Canadian then he spent the rest of the day chugging maple syrup and pretending to like it.
PEEK-A-BOO-
LASHAWN BEAZ
Shawna is half Caribbean, half Jamaican to me. It doesn’t say anywhere what specific country she’s descended which is a shame but what can you do. I head canon her the be Caribbean and Jamaican because they are to countries with beautiful cultures but I also think she might be a-bit Brazilian but I’m on the fence about it.
CAPITAL R ROGUES
CAPTAIN BOOMERANG- George (digger) Harkness
Obviously he’s Australian. I know that in a few comics it says he’s half Australian, half American but I’m going to ignore that. In canon, he grew up in Kurrumburra, a small town in the state of Victoria, Australia and were going with that.
MIRROR MASTER I-
Samual (sam) Scudder
I’ve always had the head canon that Sam is Greek. It just feels like one of those things that fits his character but I also feel like he’s half American most likely on his father’s side. He definitely grew up in America though.
WEATHER WIZARD-
Marco (mark) Mardon
In some of the newer comics he’s depicted as Mexican which I absolutely head canon but I’m not a fan of his backstory. I think he grew up in America but his parents immigrated before he and Clyde were born.
RAINBOW RAIDER-
ROY G BIVILO
I think Roy will come from a very artistic country so I believe him being half French half Japanese is very fitting. Both countries are renowned for their art and Roy is the human personification of art. His parents immigrated long before he was born so he was raised in America.
TRICKSTER I-
Giovanni Giuseppe
(James Jesse)
Italian though and though. He grew up a-bit everywhere because of the circus but he mainly lived in Italy somewhere near Rome.
PIED PIPER-
HARTLEY RATHAWAY
Definitely English maybe with a-bit of Irish descent. His parents obviously have a bunch of properties in England but they primarily live in America for business.
THE TOP-
Roscoe Dillion
For some reason Roscoe has always stuck me as coming from Asian descent and his family immigrated to start the dillion family business and they always rubbed it in roscoes face. With that being said I think he’ll be half Chinese, half South Korean.
HEATWAVE-
Michael (Mick) Rory
Mick has to be half Hawaiian, half Samoan. Why? Because I said so. But seriously I think mick has to be an absolute tank of a man and Samoans have the reputation of being fucking huge yet both countries have the most kind and gentle people like ever and mick might be an absolute tank but he is a gentle giant.
THE SNART SIBLINGS-
CAPTAIN COLD-
Leonard Snart
GOLDEN GLIDER-
Lisa Snart
These two are the reason I made this post.
In canon they are both American but I think it would work so much better if they came from Inuit descent, especially since len’s costume is directly inspired by Inuit traditional clothing.
But I think they will only be half Inuit on their mother’s side and on the other side of the family they’re French-Canadian and Russian .
Hear me out.
I head canon Lisa having her costume based on Russian and Canadian figure skater.
I also think some of the rogue’s rules have some form of a connection with Inuit culture because len created them.
Both siblings are also Jewish and I think their grandpa was Russian and Jewish and because of the war he believed a lot more in his Jewish beliefs and hung on to them in fear they would be took away again. I also think the Snart sibilings have to be at least abit slavic in some way.
But I also think there’s a chance that they’re half siblings. In that case then len is Inuit on his mother’s side and Lisa is American on her mother’s side but both are still french-Canadian and Russian on their dad’s side.
Ok so a while ago I was thinking about that issue of the flash where ace is talking about how he doesn’t have an arch nemesis so i was like bro I’m gonna give you an arch nemesis you deserve it so everyone meet Cole Danes aka Kid Cold!
I don’t have a super concrete backstory for him yet, but I think that he has some kind of animosity toward the flash/flash family and views captain cold as the real hero of central city. He begs Leonard to let him join the rogues to which Leonard is like no way you’re a child??? So he steals a defective cold gun and dismantles it (not sure how this happens yet but I’m working on it) and from the pieces constructs his own ice bombs that he calls “snowballs”. He starts committing his own thefts to try to impress Leonard, but Ace is always there to stop him. I think eventually they would form some kind of bond over having difficult childhoods and absent fathers, the difference being ace had good role models in iris and Barry, but Cole pretty much had no one to look out for him, which is partly what leads him to look up to captain cold.
(this is based on the comics between 1960 and 1985) 🙇🏻♀️
I found it fun to do and I thought it might give ideas to the struggling fanfiction author (and I don't even have the same opportunity because I would also like to start writing some 🙇🏻)
I kind of abbreviated some of the information because I didn't really know how to word it ಥ‿ಥ
I'm not sure it's all true because the comics I'm basing it on are in English...I have difficulty understanding English 🙇🏻♀️ With that, I wish you a good day 🥲
Note: According to polls, 94% of Missourians consider themselves Midwestern, but there's a lot of Southern influence, so I just included both because I can't find a clear consensus on "Missouri accent" which...is honestly common in large states.
This obviously excludes villains from out of state or out of country such as Captain Boomerang (Australian) and Mirror Master (Scottish)
