The Aretalogy of Karpocrate in Chalcis #2: Who is Egyptian Hypnos and Echo?
I am Karpokrates [Καρποκράτης εἰμὶ ἐγώ], son of Sarapis and Isis, [- -] of Demeter and Kore and Dionysus and Iacchus, brother of Sleep and Echo. (The Strange Significance of the Name Carpocrates in Early Christian Polemic, p722 = RICIS, 104/0206 2-3)
The presence of Hypnos as a "brother" to Karpokrates is explained by the close association between the Egyptian forms of these two deities, particularly the identification of Hypnos with the Egyptian god Tithoes (Tutu). The direct identification of Tithoes as "Hypnos" is attested in a Greek inscription from Amphipolis (Veymiers, 2009).
Tithoes and Harpokrates were closely connected in Egyptian cult. Evidence such as a 3rd-century CE fresco from Karanis depicting them side by side, coins showing Harpocrates riding a human-headed sphinx identified as Tithoes, and theophoric names like Her-toutou (Horus-Tithoes) indicate a clear assimilation or close partnership between them.
Echo's role is less explicitly Egyptian, but her presence is likely linked to oracular activity. While often associated with Pan, who was himself an oracular god, Echo appeared at the oracle of Zeus in Dodona. Their presence as siblings of Karpokrates thus collectively alludes to the oracular role of Karpokrates, likely involving dream-incubation practices at Chalcis.
"There is a dichotomy between the representations of the god on private monuments and in temple reliefs, with each domain tending to show a distinct iconography. The private monuments depict the god almost invariably as a striding sphinx, whereas the temple reliefs usually depict the god in an entirely human form. There are a number of significant exceptions to this tendency, which help to confirm that there was no semantic difference between the images of the two realms."

KEMETIC DEITY EXCHANGE 2018
Vector Art of Tutu (Twtw) for @antlering
Tutu is a protective deity in the form of a sphinx. He’s a son of Neith, and also associated with Sekhmet. It’s said that Tutu is often shown with supplementary heads of ibis, hawk, baboon, crocodile or a ram’s (as shown in the picture). His body was a lion’s and sometimes depicted wielding knives on its paws.
There’s also a version of the myth about Tutu being the personification of Aset’s lock of hair which she cut while mourning for Osiris.
...or maybe I should’ve draw Tutu in a tutu skirt.
