Stop thinking "What if, someone far away is living something like...". Start thinking about someone you already know, someone among your family, friends, your partners, your neighbor. Someone on a place you frequent. That person you always see in the same bench at the park. Someone on a place you always walk near but never really notice. Know that all the things you think, do, and feel, shouldn't be controlled by someone. You are human. You have free will. Maybe you need mistakes and lose something to know its worth. Know that, in the end, you won't worry if you satisfied someone by doing what they want you to do when you realize it only hurt you when things go wrong. Start putting yourself first.
We all have a soul. We all have a heart when we need to love, a mind to put ourselves together or to escape this reality, hands to express ourselves, and words to let out. It's okay if you feel afraid to use them, how do you think the first human on Earth felt? The first person that loved? When we feel alone, we feel like the only human on earth. That must have been confused. It's fine if you need time to trust. No one has all qualities at once.
Take hours for yourself and take hours for silence. Even if you've embraced it all day. Because if it's about something else, it has a different purpose and it's a different kind of silence. We came to life to make some progress on ourselves, don't make it all about routine and responsibilities. If someone questions about your freedom, they should know you're working on your life. You're working on yourself. You're progressing. If someone criticizes you you can always bore them to death with a filosophycal speech. Or throw confetti to their faces then run away. Or just say "I'm living my life, go live yours" They shouldn't live yours. They can't control it.
We tend to forget about a lot of things when they just disappear. Fix them instead of forget them, maybe fixing is letting go, and letting go isn't the same as forget. If you just forget it, then it will hurt when you remember. Learn from your past mistakes. Don't be afraid to write them down, even if it looks threatening. Burn it. Throw its ashes to the rain, to the river, to the fountain, to the kitchen sink. Think of how many thing were thrown into that river.
Write down the things you hate. Burn it. Throw the ashes to the water. Now, write about the things that were thrown into it or the things you should throw out of your life. Write now about the things you love even if it's mundane. Put it in a box.
