Be Mine! Valentine's Day Rarepair Event

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone in the Resident Evil Fandom! Are you ready for another Resident Evil Rarepair celebration?

In honor of Valentine's Day, we're celebrating with the Valentine's Day Rarepair Event! 14 themed prompts will be provided for participants to choose from to make content for. You can choose to do as many prompts, and as many projects as you please!

We will be accepting the submissions for the finished works during the period of February 14th, 2026, to February 21st, 2026. (Late submissions can still be accepted).

The purpose of this event is to encourage folks to broaden their horizons and discover new rarepairs, and ships they may have not considered before, and to share their love for the lesser known ships out there!

Content can include but not limited to fanfiction, fanart, moodboards, edits, music videos and playlists.

The Prompts will be as follows:

The rules for entries are as follows:

Must be 18+ to participate, as we will be accepting NSFW entries (make sure to tag appropriately for content warnings)

A rarepair must have 300 or less fics on ao3 to be considered acceptable.

For this event we are excluding any Canon Character x Reader submissions.

We will, however, accept Canon Character x OC submissions.

All content is acceptable, please be courteous of other people's submissions and do not leave hate or discourse in the comments and tags. This is a celebration of rarepairs and encouraging more content for rarepairs in the fandom. If you don't like something someone made, just keep scrolling.

RE0, RE2R, and RE3R as LPS!

Why did I do all three? Tbh I was just on a roll 💀

Billy - either a black fluffy cat (#435 Persian) or a black dog (#92 is technically a Doberman but it’s a German Shepard model!)

Marcus - So LPS doesn’t have many bug/leech/slug options so I made Marcus a snail!! Except he wouldn’t be as slow-

Kevin D. - Penguin #389! The yellow belly is his vest!! And he looks like he’s wearing a helmet 🗣️‼️‼️

Leon - Collie #2452! Specifically cause of those brown ears and chest, mainly cause I envision him browning over time, like his hair in canon!

Ada - Shorthair cat #336! So cute, so sleek, so pretty!

Claire - Wolf(cat) #1953! I think she’d be more of a red tone, but the model reminds me of her sm

Sherry - Kitten #134! SHE’S JUST A BABY!!!

William B - Shorthair #73! Once again, the tired eyes convinced me.

Annette B - Persian #217! I was originally gonna make her a shorthair, but she just screams longhair cat to me!

Marvin - Scottie #23! I chose a Scottie cause Scottie dogs are known to be feisty, stubborn, but protective! Also he gets cool accessories cause Marvin’s the coolest here 😎

Elliot - He’d be this specific model of deer (reindeer?)! I couldn’t get the idea of him being a deer out of my head the moment I realized he looked like a deer in the headlights (BLINK ELLIOT BLINK!!!), but I wasn’t vibing with any of the regular deer and thats when I discovered these models! Also I couldn’t find the specific number because ofc I couldn’t 💀

Katherine - Maltese #79! At least I think its 79, this dog and another spaniel come up with the #79??? Anyways, she’d be this cutie!

Ben - So he’d either be a regular hedgehog…or this silly one with hair. Get it? Cause of his ponytail?

Kendo - Husky #174! He is so husky to me…

Emma - Puppy #1013! And her mama would be husky #1012 💖

Carlos - Sheepdog #1077! Too perfect! And YES, he needs the flower in his hair!!!!! I have this one 🤭

Tyrell - Jaguar #1419! Honestly, it’s another case of this specific LPS just reminds me of him! Plus, I was thinking of how there’s so many videos of jaguars lounging followed by them being expert hunters and Tyrell is a relaxed guy, but is obviously greatly skilled!

Nikolai - He was so hard to find an lps for. Looking through the different models and designs, but I landed on cat #9 (the hair sorta matches his) or Dane #184 (cause Nikolai’s second name is “The White Wolf” And I wasn’t too pleased with assigning him a cat)

Mikhail - Mikhail was also hard to choose for. Maybe a German Shepard or a Boxer?? But ofc white/grey
