It was exactly what I needed at the right moment. I was able to immerse myself in a world I know well (RE lore), which I follow with passion, while learning new things and constantly improving.

BRAD VICKERS WAS NOT A COWARD!!!

i’m tired of the brad vickers slander. everyone just says he’s a coward, and then they reference this. what i’m reading from this is that he’s afraid to die and doesn’t really like going into danger bc he doesn’t have balls of steel like the rest of the STARS members—NOT that he won’t or that he’s a full on coward.

people seem to reference the devs saying he is straight up a coward, but i’ve literally found NOTHING about that. all i see is what it says in the manual and people taking it for more than what it is. don’t forget that wesker recruited everyone on the STARS team and was originally recruited because of his gift as a headhunter. he was specifically picking very capable, highly skilled individuals (because they were going to be the test subjects for the BOWs). brad might not have had the same reserve as everyone else, but he was chosen BY WESKER. he had to be capable and not a pussy lmfao.

brad vickers may have gotten in the helicopter and taken flight while everyone else was on the ground, but it was CHAOS out there. there were cerberus dogs everywhere, joseph was dead, it was almost entirely pitch black, and they were scattered and running. if i recall, the only other one who would have been able to fly the helicopter would have been chris—and brad was not near him after they scattered.

imo, the smartest thing he could have done was get to the helicopter and try to at least secure their means of escape because the only other way would be to try and run through the arklay forest and down the mountains while being pursued by these dogs and god knows whatever else (definitely infected seeing as that was the reason BRAVO team had been up there in the first place, and their disappearance is why ALPHA team was there).

what everyone seems to ignore or discount is that BRAD VICKERS WAS UP THERE ALL NIGHT TRYING TO RADIO AND GET IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE FROM THE STARS TEAM. while idk how realistic that is for fuel, that had to have been 8-12 hours because the entire mansion incident happens overnight with the tyrant fight taking place during sunrise. he STAYED up there!!!! he STAYED looking for his team in hopes that they had survived somehow.

let’s also mention: no one had any lights or flares with them(which is crazy imo). the special tactics and rescue service didn’t have a single set of emergency lights on their persons and ready to try and signal to one another should they have gotten separated—and i’m pretty sure the only one who had a damn radio was richard from BRAVO team, barry, possibly wesker, and brad in the helicopter. IT MAKES SENSE FOR BRAD TO HAVE BEEN IN THE COPTER AND IN THE AIR SO THAT SOMEONE COULD CONTACT HIM, AND HE WAITED TO MAKE SURE EVEN THOUGH HE DIDNT KNOW IF A SINGLE PERSON WAS ALIVE.

it’s also because of him that we are able to win the tyrant fight and escape from the mansion alive that morning because he sees the flares and drops the rocket launcher!!!!!! like yes, you know what, he probably wasn’t supposed to leave—BUT WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF HE DIDNT???? chris was in the mansion with us, he wouldn’t have been able to get to the helicopter before the mansion blew up (or possibly could have been dead if you played as jill and didn’t release chris from the prison), and no one else was a pilot. even if brad did survive and made it to the mansion with you, the helicopter was in the woods. no one except wesker would have made it out.

Scaring the hell out of S.T.A.R.S by tracking them down in the dark by sound

It was supposed to be a fun training exercise it was not supposed to be a horror movie in real life but did Y/n care no she didn't she wanted to make the S.T.A.R.S fear the dark and every corner . Wesker had turned the power in the S.T.A.R.S office off and he wanted them all to try and sneak around without being caught simple right well that was unless you have a Redfeild who takes joy in the fear of others. The moment the lights went off you were plotting on how to make each one of them scream but the best target of choice right now is Brad he scares easily and he is closer to you than the others. You can hear everyone bumping into things so you get up and silently navigate the floor that you memorized and you touch Brad's arm which causes him to let out the most unmanly scream ever this gets the others attention fast then Barry yelps after a cold hand touches him he whips around but can't see anything in the dark. Everyone got touched even Wesker who also whips around looking and when the lights come back on the key that leads to the prize is gone and you are at the door holding it with a smile on your sweet innocent face you proceed to wave the key around then you run when Chris gives chase.
