The West Hollywood producer, a rising force in the electronic scene, is poised to have an incredible year. Just listen to his new single, SUCKER, featuring crystalline LA siren Gigi. Its sweetly tormented, saccharine pining ambrosia has been reeling in much viral attention since its release earlier this month. We’ve had the pleasure of premiering early songs from some mighty brilliant producers, bands, and artists on IHM over the years, and we’ve taken such great pride and pleasure watching their careers expand and flourish. West Hollywood’s Tyzo Bloom is one such talent, and though he’s still on his journey on the up and up, it’s more than obvious his buzz has been steadily growing since we shared Ukiyo and premiered Closer To You. He continues his ascent with a gorgeous new future pop single named Before U Go, featuring enthralling songstress Lauren Marie on guest vocals. Effervescent is a term we often use to describe future bass and chill trap arias, but Before U Go is truly a celestial twinkling, airy frothing treat that evokes early Odesza hits, but with a bit of Whethan’s friskiness and a touch of early The Chainsmokers’ saccharine springing charm (ie. Though it’s been more than a month since we had the pleasure of premiering the track, I still find myself riding high on the dreamy rhapsodic future trap found on Tyzo Bloom’s last single, Closer To You, featuring JNNA. Soon after its debut, the Hollywood producer’s sensational original was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and reached as high as #6 on the US Viral Charts with close to half a million plays. Of course, none of this came as any surprise to IHM, and we were already looking forward to what else the budding electronic talent had in store for us next. On new single “T O N I G H T”, Tyzo Bloom displays a far more mellow side to his dexterous skillset. This gently trickling, chill entrancing future beats meets downtempo R&B song transports us to a rainy late night as it propels us into a deeply reflective, dreamy introspective state of mind with its soft tinkles and tender longing.
