When people use apartheid or colonizer to refer to Israel and its Jewish people…

1) Please research apartheid. When you say apartheid you are telling me that either you can’t do basic research on what a word means OR you’ve never lived in Israel and have no concept or what living in Israel is really like. Most of you somehow manage to really nail both.

2) Colonizer? I’m about to blow your mind with this one. Jews DECOLONIZED Israel. We reclaimed our homeland from colonizers and revived an ancient civilization. We are a decolonized people and Israel is a decolonized land.

I’m just saying that if you’re going to be ignorant and lowkey antisemitic you should actually put some effort into the bullshit you spew.

From Women of the Wall: “The 200 women who joined us this morning were met with a group of harassers. Violence went beyond the shoving, shouting and spitting. This time they yelled out profanities and death threats during our prayer. As we were leaving our prayer leader and our Executive Director were both physically attacked.
