Enoch in the Shadow of the Wings of God

Enoch derives it’s meaning from the Strong’s H2596 meaning to dedicate or train up. This verse uses H2596 and is a good definition of Enoch.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Enoch is tied to the Torah.

A good jewish parent would train up his child by teaching torah to him/her. God repeatedly commanded the jewish people to obey it,to teach it to their children, to nail it to the doorposts of their houses, and to bind them as a sign ion their hands and foreheads.

Enoch is recorded as being born in verse 124 with a gematria of 3352.

I did a search of other verses with a gematria of 3352. There are 5 listed.

This is the second of five listed. I can see a clear connection to Enoch. The ark is a type of Christ and we are brought into Him in safety from the tribulation we face daily and from the Great Tribulation that is coming.

Genesis 6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

This is also verse 157. 157 is tied to Enoch. Primes 1through157 add up to equal 2585. Strong’s H2585=Enoch

This is the third of five with matching gematrias of 3352 and I felt it was connected to Enoch because of the connection of keeping the commandments.

Deuteronomy 18:19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Who is the “he that shall speak in my name”= Jesus

Deut 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

If Deut 18:19 is tied to Enoch, then I felt the verse number-5404 - would show it.

Strong’s H5404 = Eagles

God compares Himself to the eagle delivering and protecting His people.

Deu 32:11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

The above verse also contains Strong’s H84=wings

Recall the gematria of Enoch is 84

So that confirms that that Deut 18:19 and Deut 32:11 are tied to Enoch.

Enoch is the one that obeys the commandments of God. God will protect Enoch under the shadow of His wings. (much like verse 157-Genesis 6:19-bringing into ark to keep alive)

This is another verse with Strong’s H84, but this time H84 = feathers. Strong’s H3671= wings. In Deuteronomy 32:11 there are also 2 mentions of wings, one being H84 and the other H3671.

Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

So lets also see the connection between H3671=wings and Enoch, besides the fact that those both can mean wings.

Numbers 15:38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue

Strong’s H3671=borders

The fringes are the tzittzit. On the 4 corners of the outer garment or the tallit would be tassels tied into 613 knots reminding them of the 613 commandments of the torah.

So in the jewish mindset the wings are the tzittzit-the torah -which Enoch is tied to.

Malachi thus prophesied of Christ

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings

The wings are Strong’s H3671 again and refer to the Tzittzit.

It says of Christ in the New Testament that people touched the fringe of his garment. This is the Tzittzit again, fulfilling Malachi 4:2.

Matthew 9:20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

Matthew 14:36 and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
