Omg! Yay! Photography supplies (including a full 5 litre bottle of Ilford Multigrade developer AND a 5 litre bottle of Amfix Universal fix!) from one of the amazing and wonderful learning assistants over at Edinburgh College’s Sighthill campus. I’m sad that they are dropping all traditional analogue photography, but I’m extremely grateful to be able to reap the benefits.

I’m so amazingly excited and can’t wait to get started, so I’m on my way home and am going to begin working on the construction of my first pinhole cameras.

It’s been a few years, but here’s an old self portrait from about… Oh dear, 16 years ago now. It’s a bit blurrier than they usually turn out because it was windy that day and my camera was an old box of Cheerios. :)

I have spent the entire day cleaning the living room, cleaning the donated darkroom equipment, and making twelve pinhole cameras. I still need to do a second coat of black paint on a few of them, and need to add the apertures to all of the cameras, but I’m hoping to be able to conduct a few tests tomorrow if all goes well. *fingers crossed*

the end result of my ‘concealed worlds in nature’ project, the process can be found under the unit 3 highlight✨

I’m actually really proud of this, the outside was really successful and looks fairly realistic, but the inside isn’t so good😬I did already know that making interiors so small isn’t my strength, so I’ll be sticking to my usual scale based on 1:12th in the future😅 my favourite parts are probably the twisting branches and the PVA stream! 
• 
ID~ 1st slide- a tiny brown house sits surrounded by grass with twisty branches and a small stream in front. 2nd slide- depicts a small downstairs room with fireplace/table and chairs, and above is a bedroom with a bed and a collages wall from paper scraps. 3rd slide- downstairs room with easel, sofa and rock table, and upstairs is a round bottle cap bath with a towel rack; interior walls are all white, and the floors all textured pink
