Things I love about being a witch:
feeling empowered (as in feeling confident)
having a tool to hand for almost any situation
helping people through your craft
dispelling the assumptions about your craft when people as you about it.
crystals! all the pretty crystals
essential oils!
....in fact all the wonderful smells!
listening to other witches and pagans and learning about their crafts
sharing your craft
witchy tips (my goodness my life would be so much harder without those)
knowing you will always have a community and a group of people to talk to
finding friends through your practice
the lack of judgement within the community
being completely free to choose your path, which is completely unlike any other faith that I have ever come across
Things that bother me as a result of being a witch:
the assumptions people make about you
Really, us witchy people, we’re a wonderful bunch and we have wonderful practices and crafts and faiths.
