On a related note to OT3s, why don’t more people ship Mcspirk?? Like I get it that Spirk is so much more canon and it’s funny to have McCoy as like the grumpy friend, BUT the three of them are relationship coded!! Idk where but I’ve definitely seen things about this, and I’m pretty Gene Roddenberry actually said something about how they’re not complete without McCoy! Also he just,, fits y’know? Having him be the grumpy third wheel friend is sleeping on him and all of his potential and they just fit together. The three of them need each other, and there’s also so much more dynamic and so much more you can do with them in a poly ship. I know Spirk was literally supposed to be canon and like the scene got cut and a ton of people ship them and that’s great but like the p o s s i b i l i t i e s my friends u are missing out
