The day felt like it had dragged on forever. Ava had dragged along taking care of their daily work. Which as of now was documenting and filing away the recent discoveries on their land. At this point it seemed like too many to count, the strange spires, the dead civilizations, readings in a language they’ve barely cracked, and the most important thing of all, was finding out that life, still resides on this planet. No, Not on to, but in their land. This discovery was a mistake, but a good one.
They picked up the last electronic file and shoved it in it’s compartment, from then it fizzled and dissipated, becoming apart of the ships memory. Ava got up and stretched, and felt the need to do anything but work. They headed up to the control room, where Bit was jumping around on the map screen, which jumped locations each time Bit landed. Ava hurried up and shooed Bit away from the screen, and they looked at it seeing what location Bit had jumped to.
They were a swipe away from clearing the location off the screen before they felt the impulse to go there, and to leave this hunk of rock alone for awhile. They needed a break after all.
They made up their mind, and off they went to the new location.
