Royal Holloway University of London after a dusting of snow, February 2019
Current state of affairs. The move is done. There’s a lot of unpacking to do still but I have school work that needs to be done. ASAP. I need to get some work in so I’m not overloaded when this next semester starts. I won’t have a desk for a while yet so the dining table will have to do until then.
Tonight I was on a roll and FINALLY made a start on one of the assignments. I feel somewhat encouraged because this is work that should have been started last Oct. That’s how behind I am.
I’ll get there! One day at a time, one lecture at a time. 1 assignment at a time.
My degree? Yeah its fine..... honestly.
Grammerly is great until you try to use it on a document that's more than 3 pages and then it just overloads your internet
Tomorrow is the orientation, one main program and one for my department/course specifically. It's weird not knowing what to expect (I have next to no idea what will they talk about, other than that they'll explain structure of course and entertain scholarship-related queries)
Whatsoever, at least now I know the classes will start soon. I'm just waiting for them to start so that I can look for books and other requirements and start studying.
Tbh, a bit nervous and a lot excited :)
