some concept art for "Undersized" (an undertale animated storyboard thing). The standin title was originally "Bitty Bones", but I wanted to change it after realizing that was someone else's thing. Again, I stick to a very simple color palette to make it easier to draw and tell as story (as I still consider myself in the "learning phase").

Smooth Fun Fact #1423: (Stepdad Smooth Week) As an undersized child, Stepdad Smooth nearly drowned twice in two separate acts of bullying. (Bonus Fun Fact: Not knowing how to swim, Stepdad Smooth was intentionally thrown into the ocean and, in a separate incident, had his head held underwater. Extra Bonus Fun Fact: Although extremely traumatic, Stepdad Smooth stated that those ugly aquatic acts helped set his life template as being a vocal leader of the underrepresented.)

Underdog

All my life, I’ve always been an underdog. Right now I’m 5’4 126 pounds. That’s a really small frame. It doesn’t help that my “look” doesn’t get me picked a lot for basketball. More often than not, when teams are picked, I sit down automatically. Why should I stand knowing I’m not going to get picked. It gets worst. If I do get picked, ima a defensive liability. On offense I need the ball to operate. If I don’t get touches, I lose confidence but, I’m not gonna complain to others, that I feel it’s unfair, that I come out, & usually I’m just sitting in the sidelines. That’s why I lowkey want to play everyone. Like have my own teammates. Because I want to prove to people that, you guys always doubt me. If you just give me a chance, I can win. And basketball is so powerful, that is literally what my life is like, especially with girls. I’m seeing now that girls like someone who is tall. Or attractive, or has money/ a career, or a thug. I’m none of that. I’m short. And lack confidence. Have money, but I’m not rich, just enough to get by, and buy things I like for myself. And girls like tough guys or thugs, I’m not. I’m a nice person, and that’s what gets me in trouble. I ask myself, how can any girl like me. I don’t even like me. I lowkey hate myself. But, I’m also driven to prove people wrong. I just wanna prove, I can win in ball...& I can get a girl.
