top five terrible TOS alien designs, go!

Midus has blessed my ask box with this bad boy.

Where to begin? How about the beginning. Not even five episode into season one we are hit with the fanbases absolute favourite character design, Unidog.

3/10 on creativity

100/10 iconic earth shattering content

Grab a dog, give it a fursona and slap on a horn tah-dah you are trek ready. Make up department went all out on this absolute legend.

Next up, space pancakes.

4/10 for creativity (all awarded for the way they jump)

-1/10 for visual. So flat its almost painful

Although, technically classed as a parasite they are alive thus this fits under the alien catagory. These little a-holes are the most plastic mf i have ever seen, and ive watched keeping up with the kardasians. But this little flappy pancakes were not even the most absurd part of this episode; they moustached Shatner, they thought we wouldnt notice, but we did.

Third, we are kicking in with the myth, the legend, the thiccest creature in all the galaxy the Hortia

Look at this girthy little lava lady.

6/10 for creativity as Hortia shares the flat looks of our space pancakes but just with a little more cushion.

11/10 for character development though, theres personality and backstory, we love that.

The way this species moves sparks joy, also many time they just went straight for the kill and although this is not star fleet worthy behaviour the assertive dominance this little lady displays...ICONIC!

Fourthly an absolute STUNNER The Fotiallians

Now, nothing against this species, theyre honestly one of the most creative. Little space vampires.

10/10 for creativity

-30/10 character design

Oof/10 for looks

Im sorry but hot diddly damn they did them dirty in the costume design...I mean I love a quirky original alien as must as the next guy( I am still 100% down for that gorn to send me their com digits) but this spieces; the eyes, the hair the unmoisturised skin and the mouth vacuum whilst creative is a shocker.

And fifth and finally a character design that whilst formally wasnt considered problematic (although it still was nobody spoke of it though) the reoccuring prospering empire of the Klingons

Now listen these mofos have had the GLOW UP of the century. If yall come for the Klingons im going to throw hands. They realised there ways were problematic and evolved tf outta them look at those forehead ridges, look at those usurping of gender-roles and blatent laize-faire attitude to gender and position as a whole. Whilst im not a fan of the Discovery Klingon I still have mad respect for the character design development as a whole and so the latter Klingons do not belong on this list, but those bad boys that begun it all...yeah youre position here is secure, sorry about that.
