How about the ability to turn back time exactly six seconds?
1) you're aware of what transpired around you in the six seconds you turn back
2) you continue to age during the lost seconds
Ooh, this ones going to be a bit more tricky for me to figure out some uses, but I’ll still try my best.
Faking predictions: the person with this ability can pretend they can see into the future by 6 seconds, making people try to counter the predicting part of the ability, even though it’s really something else
Trapping: if the person with this power sees someone walk towards a certain direction, then they could quietly roll a small bomb in that direction. Basically, if they see someone move towards a direction, then the user of this ability can send an attack towards that direction since they know where the person is going to go
Avoiding damage: if the user got punched in the face, then they could roll back the time to when they didn’t get damaged and avoid the attack
Protecting others: if they see a friend touch something hot and they burn their hands, they can rewind time for a moment to save their friend from burning their hands, or if they test a tile to see if it’s safe, and they get trapped, you can rewind time to tell them that it’s trapped. Maybe your character is fighting someone and they don’t know who this other person’s ability is, so they figure it out and turn back time 6 seconds to warn their allies that it’s actually X power
Rapid fire succession: now I’m not sure if your character can do this, but something you can write is that they can go back in time 12 seconds at once, but it still takes 12 seconds off of their life, maybe they can go back a minute all at once, and fix something dire that happened in the last minute that they just learnt about. Hell, what if they went back a year? Obviously, this would have to be used for extreme emergencies due to more time being loss
If someone uses this ability 10 times, then they’ve only lost a mere minute of their life, 60 times and an hour, they can even use it 14,400 times and only loose a day of their life. they can actually use this ability a lot before the time when they die starts to actually matter (unless the person is working with borrowed time, or has an illness that will kill them sooner)
