Hey! I had this half-baked idea of a superpower having to do with smoke. Like, the person could emit smoke from their skin and it would have special properties? It would be cool if you could expand on it but no pressure :-D

I will include pressure. Literally.

Emitting smoke from your skin can be an interesting power, and a versatile one even, so long as you can also control other aspects of it. There can be added aspects to it like you can manipulate where it goes, or you can make it super pressurized in certain spots (there’s the pressure!)

Now, what are some of the cool moves you can do with smoke manipulation? Well…

Suffocation: This is a pretty intense thing to do to someone, you’d most likely use it to suffocate fires or prevent an explosion from exploding as much. This ability can actually be useful in firefighting just for this purpose alone

Smoke screen: a smoke screen is useful to cover up something important, or useful to make a quick get away, you can potentially blind your opponents and still be able to ‘see’ because you’re manipulating the smoke like an extra limb

Pressurization: the ability to pressurize smoke can be useful. You could make a room become pressurized so oxygen can’t leave it (useful in a space setting) or create a sort of pressurized smoke bubble and put it around someone’s head like a space suit. I’m not sure if this is useful underwater, maybe? (You can probably write it to work since it’s fictional science anyways)

Duck Pokemon

1. Normal/Flying. Egg with eyes and webbed feet poking out.

2. Fighting/Flying. Hatched duckling with pieces of egg still on parts of it’s body.

3. Fighting/Flying. Fully grown fighting duck.

As before, whole line goes at once!

This Duck Pokemon was suggested by a friend, and I decided to go ahead an make it my early bird Pokemon. At least, ONE of my early birds. I’ll talk about the other one if anyone managed to get the right number. ;)

The Duck Pokemon is similar to the Fletchling line in that it actually becomes useful(hopefully) due to it’s ability, which makes it completely immune to Water Type attacks. Based of course, on the oil an actual duck use to keep itself dry!

How about Psychic Photography? power to imprint images/marks/writing onto the minds of others. In what unique way you can use this power?

Ooh, this power seems quite interesting! I’ll see what I can come up with for this...

Built in messenger: the person with this power can send messages to other people over long distances as a spy. Maybe these messages contain warnings, or important visual information (like how many guards are guarding a building, a passcode that doesn’t use the Roman alphabet, a symbol that an organization uses, etc)

Instant training: the user of this ability could send imagery of fighting techniques to someone who is skillless. This can apply to any skill that the user knows. Once the other person receives the message, they would have the memory of the skill in their brain and could replicate said skills.

Disturbing imagery: your character can distract someone fighting them by implanting images that are freaky/confusing to think about. This could make the other fighter hesitate on throwing a punch, allowing the user of the ability have more time to dodge, or throw a counter attack. Something else the user can do is send imagery of horrible events that the fighter has already experienced. This would be considered a dick move, especially since the user would have to know the fighter’s life history in order to do this.

Placebo effects: the human brain is capable of tricking itself into thinking fake memories are real, or that they think they drank caffeine to run faster, even though they really drank water. This could apply even to healing. The user could put images into an injured person’s head that they just ate something that can cure all wounds/diseases. This will trick the injured into thinking they’re going to get healed sooner so their body will heal itself faster. This effect is rather interesting in real life and could be worth learning about for fun.

Subtle influences: the user could make others believe in a simple idea that isn’t true. For example, the user could influence the victim to think they put their car keys next to a window, by subtly sending images of their keys next to a window. This will cause the victim to spend an hour looking next to all the windows in their house for their keys. In battle, the user can influence an attacker to think they’re badly injured by sending images of wounds appearing more bloodied than what’s happening. This will cause them to think they’re loosing too much blood and could collape.

This ability can be very powerful in a subtle way due to how the brain works. I hope the user with this ability can recognize its full potential to influence the mind

Ability: the ability to make things or people come apart like puzzles (you can choose the size of the puzzle pieces)

Fighting usage: you can have people’s attacks break apart and loose momentum, you can also break yourself apart to avoid getting attacked from a sword

Casual usage: you can break apart a wall so you don’t have to use a door far away (incase you have a job you’re late to) or break apart a bunch of trash in your room easily

Other scenarios: if you get a bunch of puzzles pieces then you can stack them up on each other and create a tower

Alternative abilities: breaking objects apart like clay

The ability to make people feel whatever emotions you want, at will.

A usage of this ability in a fighting scenario is to make your enemy feel irrationally angry at the ground so they focus on fighting that, leaving you to land a few hits.

A more casual way of using this ability is to make someone feel like they have enough courage to do their job interview, or to stop panic attacks by making them feel more calmer

The ability to manipulate light waves or really, any kind of waves. The usage of this ability is actually really useful as there is certain light waves that could help speed up healing small cuts. You can also control radio waves and manipulate them to create certain sounds or send false signals to radios (send a nuclear amber alert to a city and watch the chaos unfold) or you can make a room so bright, no one can see what is happening and they fight blindly

The ability to give others simple commands and have them complete those simple commands. You can call this ability “programming”

Alternatively, you can give people commands by telling them the command, but depending on your tone of voice dictates how they complete it. (For example: if you tell person A to stop person B in an angry way, then person A might fight person B to get them to stop doing something)

Ability: having a magnet like body that you can break apart and have it come towards the rest of your body easily using your mind

Fighting usage: let’s say your enemy is infront of you, you can throw out your fist behind them and control the fist to connect to your wrist, essentially punching your enemy at a distance

Casual usage: wanted to grab something at the other side of the room but were too lazy? Well with this ability, now you could just toss your arm towards your cup, grab it, then control your arm to return to yourself
