This might be the most embarrassing and disappointing thing I've seen come out of the author of Harry Potter's mouth and just shows how immature she is or has become as an older adult.

Here she is openly mocking and disavowing on her professional work account not only someone who professes to being a fan of her children's fiction, but also supporting in broad strokes her views on 'protecting women, but even that isn't enough for her to engage honestly or show this person a modicum of respect.

No, she openly says she would rather be remembered for being a 'chaotic internet personality' than for anything related to Harry Potter, and that she looks forward to partying with TERFs in the afterlife after she passes away.

If I wasn't seeing it with my own eyes I wouldn't be able to believe this was the coiffed, kind-seeming woman who publicly presented herself as a philanthropist and educator, who loved, respected, and put on a pedestal her own fans at the peak of her fame.

TS3 - Shang Simla Forbidden City Icon MOD

One of the most fatal mistakes that EA Maxis' The Sims 3 Studio in San Francisco, USA ever done to Shang Simla, China world in The Sims 3 World adventures: Using image of Torii Gate, from Japan, for China world icon.

For 13 years after release of The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack, finally I did the fix for the icon. Creating this icon default replacement is actually difficult because

editing the vector in very small scale size. 64x64 px, 57x57 px, 38x38 px, 32x32 px, 21x21 px... 

I chose Forbidden City as icon for Shang Simla because Forbidden City is only existed in Beijing, China. Shang Simla has its own “Sim-ified” Forbidden City building in the center of the World.

I haven’t tested the whole gameplay showing this new icon, but I have already done the edit for all image icons with keyword “beijing” “china” on S3PE. If you found any icon that hasn’t been replaced, please report to me.

Hey ADs! I left my in-house design job four months ago to freelance fulltime and I am hustlin hard and crushing it! My previous employer reached out with a project proposal and offered me $20 less an hour to do it than I was making working there. I responded with my current freelance rate (roughly twice what they offered) and they wrote back a nasty email saying I was 'entitled and ungrateful'. I'm shocked at the immaturity- have you experienced anything like this in your careers?

I would look at this as a gift from your previous employer in the form of confidence that you did the absolutely right thing in leaving! Congrats! Now keep on crushing it, and realize that people you leave behind are probably jealous and want you to fail. The best response to unprofessionalism is to be UBER COOL AND PROFESSIONAL. It drives the people being nasty into even more of a rage that they can’t get an equally nasty response out of you.

There’s a lot of parallels here to dating/petty ex-boyfriends/girlfriends, but that’s a whole other post…

Please spread this far and wide. We should not sit back and allow people like this to run wild in the cosplay community. Especially those who consider themselves professional. If you can send support to MyOppa(Designer of the runway Red Riding Hood dress, Taropun(Milk Party artist), and anyone else she steals from. A true professional would take their time to brainstorm their own designs and OC, and in the case of the dress one would actually take a look at the site before assuming they can make a replica without any kind of permission from the original artist. So, please, if you care about cosplay, share this. This needs to end.
