from /r/vexillology Top comment: The principality was founded in the town of Seborga, near the French border, in 1963. The reason the micro state was established was because the town got sold in 1729 to Savoy, but in the Congress of Europe the sale was never mentioned. And thus the founder of the state claims that since the town hasn't been mentioned in that treaty that other transfers of the town don't apply. In a referendumin 1995 the people of Seborga voted 304-4 for a constitution and independence from Italy. The micro state is a monarch who is democratically elected, the current monarch is Nina Menegatto, who was elected in November of last year. The town has it's own currency, Seborga luigini, and a military composed of mostly volunteers

I wonder how many gender identities and sexualities there are that I have no idea exist.

Shout out to all the sexualities that are so unrecognised that they don’t even get mentioned in the most intricate unrecognised identity posts.

Shout out to the people who have to explain their gender/sexuality to 99% of people they tell it to so they don’t bother telling people any more.

Shout out to the people who’s identities aren’t even know to the most knowledgeable of the community.

You are all really awesome and deserve respect and recognition.
