Summary: Team Free Will finds themselves in another universe on a mountain with 9 teenagers and as the night goes on, they find that they need to make sure these teens survive.
The rift closed behind the group almost immediately, prompting each of them to look around curiously. "Son of a bitch, where the hell are we?" Dean asked.
"Don't know, but it's sure as hell cold." Johannah replied, rubbing her arms. Thankfully she had put her signature jacket on over her button up before stepping through the rift, but it was still freezing as hell.
Gabriel shrugged off his jacket and slipped it around the powerless reaper. "Here, sugar. You need it more than me."
Johannah leaned closer to the archangel and sighed. "Thanks, Gabe."
Sam looked expectantly at Gabe who stared right back at him. They shrugged at each other and the tall Winchester gestured at the woman and then at his brother and himself. Dean finally broke the silence, "What about us? Huh? We're human, too."
"Uh, yeah." Sam agreed, smiling awkwardly as he felt himself shiver. "Think you could maybe, I don't know, get us a couple of extra coats?"
Gabe clicked his tongue. "No can do, boys. Looks like I'm completely powerless here." He added a snap to prove it. "I would if I could."
Castiel slowly wandered away from the group, eying the snowy mountain before them. "I'm not sure where we are, but look." He pointed at a girl getting off a bus and beginning a trek on a path up the mountain.
"Do you think we should follow her?" Jack asked.
Johannah shrugged. "I guess so? Maybe we can get somewhere warm."
"Wait, hold on," Dean interrupted. "Is-is that Hayden Panettiere?"
"Who?" Sam asked, cocking an eyebrow.
"Hayden Panettiere! Man, she is hot," Dean said, sighing.
Johannah slowly nodded. "Alright, sure, Dean. Don't know how the hell you recognized her from this distance, but I'm honestly not surprised."
"I don't think any of us are," Cas deadpanned.
Dean looked at everyone in the group, quickly shifting his gaze as though nervous. "Shut up."
Sam gestured at the path 'Hayden' disappeared up. "We can make fun of Dean later. Whoever she is, she's moving on without us."
"Right." Johannah slipped her arms through the sleeves of her second jacket and turned around, walking backwards towards the path. Gabriel immediately started following. "Come on, guys. Let's find out where the hell we are."

Eventually, the group caught up to 'Hayden Panettiere' at what looked to be a gondola lift up the mountain, though they had to do quite a bit of climbing. She was with a guy who, after a bit of eavesdropping, they learned was named Chris. He also called 'Hayden' Sam, though Dean doubled down that it had to be the celebrity.
"They're getting on the lift," Sam observed.
With a sigh, Johannah responded, "Without us. It's-... cold..?" Her sentence trailed off as she watched another girl join them on the lift after hugging both of them.
Dean double-taked, looking back and forth between Johannah and the other girl. "Wow. That's uncanny."
"Is that...Zoey?"
Castiel tilted his head and squinted at 'Zoey.' "I don't think so. She seems different."
"Yeah, Cas, we're in a different dimension. That's why she seems different," Dean retorted.
Cas shook his head. "No, it's- it's something different. I can't quite put my finger on it."
"I'm with ya there, Cas," Gabriel agreed, nodding while his arm trailed around Johannah's shoulders.
The group watched as the lift embarked up the mountain, laughter audible from the 3 friends on it. Finally, Jack spoke up. "So, how are we getting up there?"
"That's a good question," Cas replied. "Something about this place is making me powerless, and I'm going to assume you both are effected too?" He looked at Gabe and Jack who both nodded.
"So what, you can't just zap us up there?" Dean asked. Cas shook his head and Dean rolled his eyes. "Great, so that means we have to take the damn ski lift too?"
Johannah let out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. "It's alright, we can catch it when it comes back. Just have to wait."
The brothers both let out sighs and Dean stretched. "Alright, well, it'll be a while so I'm gonna go over to that shooting range that guy was at." He walked in the direction of it without looking back.
This was going to be a long night.

Johannah stared out the window of the lift, seeing a group emerge from the woods around the cable car station they were just at. Her eyes widened slightly and she glanced at her friends sitting across from her talking. "Guys, sorry to interrupt, but there are people down there."
"Seriously?" Chris got up and moved across the car and set his knee on the bench next to Johannah, looked at the station they just left. "Holy shit."
Sam moved to the other side of Johannah, still standing as she looked. "I'm glad we got out of there."
"What do you think they want?" Johannah asked.
"I don't know," Chris moved back to the other bench he was on. "But I'm telling Josh when we get there. They might find a way up the mountain."
"Yeah, good plan," Sam nodded in agreement.
After a moment of silence, Johannah still staring out the window behind her, Chris spoke again. "Hey, did I ever tell you guys how Josh and I met?"
"Can't say you have," Sam replied.
---
"Guys, it's coming." Johannah started walking around the side of the building to make sure Dean as well as Sam and Jack who'd joined him heard, but stopped dead in her tracks when she heard an unfamiliar voice behind her.
