Incredibly underrated that Azul knows far more about Jamil than Jamil does about him. I wonder if Jamil consciously realizes it or if Azul’s lovesick puppy act makes up enough for genuine vulnerability. They’re both so guarded in such different ways and despite Jamil’s skills in discernment it seems Azul is far better at seeing through him than vice versa. I think Jamil wants to be known a lot more than he’s willing to let on and Azul is in many ways the opposite.
