We all have to make decisions every day in our lives. Sometimes they’re easy but most of them can be difficult. Sometimes we have to choose between two evils. Sometimes we can faced with a decision that will leave us a complete mess of disappointment and anger towards ourselves.
As I’m growing, I’m learning more and more to take it easy on myself. We often place ourselves on a pedestal that we have to stand on our tippy toes just to get onto… It’s okay to find a smaller platform. I constantly struggle with this idea but after some self-reflection I have realized that I am a person who is strong but tends to test that strength far too often. Why make life more complicated than it already is? I realized that I need to find a pedestal that fits me first & then work my way up once I’ve outgrown it. It’s all about timing. Life revolves around time.. Most of us feel as though we need more but the truth is, everything happens when or if it is suppose to. We’re not living on our time anyway. It’s not guaranteed, it’s borrowed. Just be the best you in the time that you’re given. Like my mother says, “No one knows you like you do. No one knows what you’re capable of and what your limits are like you do.”
Don’t be too hard on yourself. After all, you should be your biggest fan.
