as for the UD signs: I’ve seen people write about an empty coke bottle and a can in the epilogue representing byler absence (bc waterfallgate is a byler theory), but ofc this also works with the UD having no water.

(Here you most likely remember the plot hole in which there was water but as long as we speak about illusions, that doesn’t fully surprise me. Illusions within illusions. Inception like.)

speaking of the water in the UD btw, you might recall that Mike was drinking coffee there, but 1) we don’t know exactly where illusion’s started 2) probably it was there already, but I doubt that it’d be plausible enough if they couldn’t use water there as always, so their water is also “fake”; but that coke just serves as a metaphor stressing the idea itself, mb hinting at them being in the UD.
