Had the kids up to make hot wings the other day. Pretty interesting mix of beers chosen. In the mix: Funkwerks Apricot Provincial, Crazy Mountain Snowcat Coffee Stout, Upsloap Craft Lager, Fort Collins Brewing Major Tom (the last ever), Anderson Valley Holy Gose Ale, Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout, and SKA Brewing Mexican Logger.

Last of the beer mail from @bigb65, sad but happy to have them all! Black Ridge Brewing's Folklore Imperial Stout, super boozy, Grand Teton Brewing's Snarling Badger Berliner Weiss, @bigskybrewing Pack Train DIPA and Slow Elk, Smoked Porter from Black Ridge, Mount Jumbo IPA from Highlander Beer, Barrel Full of Monkeys Russian Imperial Stout from Paddock Wood, really nice, and Upslopes Imperial India Pale Ale in a stove pipe can. All these knocked me on my ass!

Made grilled asparagus with garlic sauce and mesquite grilled chicken. Stuffed it all into a pita with my homemade tzatziki sauce. Fresh cherry tomatoes (and a little more tzatziki) on the side. All washed down with Upslope's Passionfruit Hibiscus Sour. Really turned out and was fast and easy to make.

My son made Fasolia on Sunday (more then a lot) so he thought of giving his parents some. So on a cold snowy night we had it on rice with a side of green beans. I know it is not traditional, but I had Upslope Brewing's Mexican Lager with. It went perfectly with a traditional comfort food. A little malty, slightly sweet, and a clean finish.
