“When will the FS federations learn the lesson and stop hyping pre-teens/juniors/novices so much and naming them the next olympic champion, when they haven't even finished growing and developing physically. Yes, I'm looking at you, Rusfed, and don't get me started on the USFSA. I have no clue how they're gonna fix the Alysa Liu problem, that was some big PR campaign gone to waste.”

“Nowadays, unless they are A.) Team Tutberidze, B.) a Russian, C.) a Japanese, or D.) an American, no one talks about them! There are so many lovely skaters that I would love to hear more about, but I never hear about them unless they fit in one of those boxed-up categories.”

“There are now less than six weeks to go until 2020 Skate America and the ISU has not published even the criteria for selection of entries. This is crazy and unprofessional to leave skaters in limbo like this.“

“Some recent unfavorable actions by big feds that weren’t by US/Russia:

– JSF wanted 1 jump/3 jump bonus (sp/free), when Canada/US were pushing hard for 2/4.

– And, who was responsible for raising worlds 2020 minimums? Canada.

Every big fed is capable of politicking on behalf of their skaters. Not every bad thing that happens in FS is the US/Russia’s fault.”

“If, according to Liu's interview, several top US skaters had time on ice rinks since the WC’s were canceled, I wonder why Brown (and apparently Chen) weren't brought in with the rest.”

“Many skaters I love are from small feds, and I hate to see that ISU/judges are stricter and look down on them because they are not Americans or Russians (judges may low your scores, but I will still support you, so please keep working hard).”

“It really annoys me when people dismiss or belittle Nationals results from all Federations. Just because Russia and the US manipulate their Nationals results doesn't mean all Federations do. Shouldn't we stand up for and promote the Federations that do the right thing instead of dismissing all of them because two are dishonest?”
