If you go into a store or restaurant or any place if business, really any time, but extra especially this week, you need to conduct yourself as if you are a foreign emissary on a diplomatic mission.
You need to treat every single employee as if they are the president of a country you are negotiating peace with and act as if your behavior and attitude are all that separates the world from nuclear war. And if you even so much as speak in the wrong tone of voice, the ruin of the entire world will be your fault.
Working service jobs this time of year is psychological torture, even moreso than usual.
Either treat workers with kindness or don't go out at all. Idc what inconvenience you think is their fault. Maybe if they were paid better and treated fairly fewer mistakes would happen, so aim your ire at the people who employ them, not the catastrophically stressed out employees fighting for their lives the worst week of the year
