I love that you read MaoMao as Ace. Just to let you know Ace/Asexual means little to no SEXUAL ATTRACTION Aro/Aromatic means little to no ROMANIC ATTRACTION

In other words, an asexual person can be romantically attracted to a person without being sexually attracted to them. Also Asexual and Aromatic are umbrella term thanks have a lot of different sub types under them

For example Demiromanic mean you don’t/ can’t form romantic feelings for a person until you form a deep bond with them. Same for Demisexual but with sexual attraction. Think friends to lovers or enemies to lovers.

So, you can totally choose not to ship her with anyone. Just know that seeing as Ace doesn’t mean she can’t be in a romantic relationship

My boyfriends sister told me last night that she is so tired of hearing WHEN you have a kid and not IF. We talked about how there is so much expectation on us as women to have kids when sometimes we may not want them and telling us 'oh when you have kids' actually hurts someone alot who's not worried about having kids yet, but is more worried about living life right now. If they decide to have kids its possible they just wanted more out of life because they lived there's the way they wanted and now it's time for more, but there is no right or wrong time to have kids or not have kids. Focus on you. If the time comes you'll know. We just need to be more aware as a community that not every woman dreams of having kids and we shouldn't force them to anyway. Just something for you to think about ig

How and when to use italics and bold—but especially italics. That’s something I didn’t really do much before, when I started writing. I didn’t use them nearly as often as I do now. But inspired by comics and books, I started using them more and more, so now I pay close attention—even without realizing it sometimes—to how I use them, making sure they highlight what actually matters without overdoing it.

I’ve also been more cautious with using dashes, ever since that whole crazy thing about them being considered “proof” of AI use started circulating. It’s nonsense, I know, but still.  In my mother language, we use em dashes a lot (mostly to mark the beginning of dialogue instead of the quotes), so it’s something I’m very used to, and I don’t plan on stopping. Besides, I think they make the writing look nicer. But I am trying not to overuse them.
