Blue is someone you can rely on in a relationship. If you need help with something or you just wanna talk about something that upset you, he's there. Now that's different when it comes to his own emotions while it's sometimes easy to read him, if he wants to hide the way he feels about something. He can play the part to hide that emotion. So just sometimes check in with him, ask him if he's okay. He'll be honest with his s/o, like any other sans he'll try to put all the responsibilities on himself while trying to hide it.
Some believe blue to be innocent but I think only stretch treats him that way. As weird as it is I think he only plays innocent, like an act to get people to think he's naive. I mean if they think he is, they'll underestimate him. It helps him get lots of info out of people. Though as his partner, blue doesn't want you to treat him like a child. He wants the relationship to be 50/50, for the both of you.
Now blue is a man of physical affection and acts of service. He wakes up every day giving you a kiss on the cheek before going to make breakfast for the both of you. He does tend to be loud, so usually you're up with him but if you can sleep past that kudos to you. Now as much as sans loves physical affection if it's not your thing, he'll do words of affirmation instead.
Dates with blue can be a lot, he always plans out every single detail because he wants it to be perfect for you and for you to be able to relax. So he plans them according to your mood, you want to just watch a movie with snacks. Okay he's got you covered! You want to go out and do multiple activities, he's always got a schedule so you can do everything you wanted to do that day.
All in all I would rate dating blue an 8/10, mostly because he needs to learn to come to you for help also.

It wasn’t every day that Red woke up to the smells of frying bacon and sausage. The hints of eggs were somewhere in there too, and he was sure if he really searched for it he could smell the butter on some biscuits, melting into little scoops of sweet apple butter.
Which was kind of shocking, given that they rarely had the ingredients for such a feast, let alone the reason to cook it all. He was used to small portions and near tasteless food; not that his bro wanted that for either of them but when the food supplies made it to Snowdin there was almost never enough to go around.
They must have gotten some damn good supplies this time. Maybe it was a good omen, a sign that they’d make it to the Surface this go round.
Bones creaking as he slowly sat up off his dingy mattress, Red grunted as he lifted his arms above his head, doing the stretches Alphys had told him he would do under penalty of death (or watching really bad hentai). His spine popped satisfyingly, a loud crack and release of pressure that Red knew would ache later but right now it felt damn good.
“Red!! It’s breakfast time, get your ass down here!” Edge called, his voice sounding… strangely close. Was he not downstairs cooking in the kitchen? Surely he hadn’t set up in his own room or something, that’d be… really weird.
Carefully getting to his feet, Red wiped at his sockets, trying to will away the night time bleariness. It was a lot lighter in his room than he was used to, he must have knocked a curtain down in his sleep or something. Blinking as he made his way to the door, he opened it, stopping dead in his tracks as the sight in front of him really registered.
He was not upstairs in their little house in Snowdin, the walls chipped and paint peeling. There was no green couch waiting for him, springs sticking out of random places. Instead he was greeted with a hallway, a short carpeted hall that led to a much smaller living room, the couch a deep brown. The windows were open, a gentle breeze billowing the white curtains a bit, the… the sunshine filtering through.
Staring for a long moment, he didn’t notice Edge stick his head through an open doorway at the other side of the living room, mouth open to call for him again, only to click shut as something like empathy went over his face.
“You forgot again, brother?”
Red jerked, looking to Edge, before looking back to the living room, to the sunlight.
“I… must’a. We’re…?”
Edge huffed a laugh, padding to him and taking his hand, giving the knuckles a single kiss. “We are on the Surface, yes. We have been for a few months. Come, eat breakfast with me, love.”
With that he gently led Red to the kitchen, the scents of delicious food cooking mixed with the light from the windows shining through, creating a beautiful picture that Red would memorize to keep for the rest of his life.
It was a very tasty breakfast, even if Red cried a little.
