whenever you’re both at home, kento makes a habit of cooking for you — breakfast in the mornings because he’s always the first one up and he wants to make sure you have at least one proper meal during the day, lunch if you’re both at home for the day or he just got off of work early and wants to surprise you at work, and occasionally dinner when he isn’t too tired to do so

if you’re sensitive to certain scents, or just to strong smells, he’ll swap out his usual cologne in a heartbeat just to make sure that you’re able to be close to him without even slightly risking getting a migraine

does whatever he can to keep you as far away from the dangers of the jujutsu world as he possibly can — which is easier said than done if you’re a sorcerer like him, but he still tries his best to keep you safe no matter what

not a very frequent texter, especially when he’s dealing with proper missions or paperwork or students, but he tries to check in with you periodically — especially when he’s away on longer missions when he knows you’ll be worried about him

he never sleeps well when you’re away from each other, and has even started to feel somewhat homesick at your shared home when you’re not with him (not that he’d tell you that; he’d hate for you to feel guilty for just doing your job)

he has your contact on his phone set so your calls and texts will still come through even when it’s on dnd — because he always wants to be able to be there for you when you need him… even when he can’t physically be by your side

satoru gojo

he has, on multiple occasions, teleported you both across the country just so you can make a gig you wanted to see or so you can get that snack or sweet or dish you’ve been craving — the higher ups might scold him for it later, but as long as he gets to see that smile of yours he genuinely couldn’t care less

you are the only person he really lets himself be vulnerable — human — around. the only one he opens up to fully about his grief, his fears, his worries, his frustrations — and, likewise, he wants you to be able to trust him with that less-than-perfect side of you too

floated just a little bit when you two kissed for the first time… and maybe kind of shattered a nearby lightbulb… but he’ll vehemently deny it and insist that he was very calm and collected and confident back then (he wasn’t)

makes up excuses to check in with you while you’re working, even if you don’t work at jujutsu tech with him — and because gojo is gojo he seemingly managed to charm your colleagues and boss into just… letting him hang around your place of work

if he has a mixed bag of sweets he saves your favourite flavour of the bunch and gives them to you the next time he sees you

he is a notorious and unapologetic lip chaser. it’s never ‘just one (more) kiss’ with him, do not believe his lies

shoko ieri

she doesn’t wear her heart on her sleeve to the same extent as some of her colleagues and friends, but as her partner you get to see just how much her work impacts her — and, consequently, are one of the few people she feels comfortable going to for help or for comfort

your contact photo on her phone is a cropped selfie gojo sent her of the two of you coming back from an outing — you’re half-way unconscious and drooling a bit, but she thinks you look cute anyway and has had it attached to your contact ever since

aside from your lips, her favourite place to kiss you is either your neck (specifically either the nape or over the pulse point) or your wrists (again, where she can feel your pulse)

stares at you a lot more than you realise, but the only one to pick up on it so far is her dear best friend who teases her for it relentlessly — it almost makes her feel like a lovesick teenager again and, honestly, she doesn’t completely hate it

she’s a slow, deliberate, and passionate kisser but she also has the self control to stop after just one kiss when one or both of you need to be somewhere soon — unlike some people she could name…

she wants you to borrow her clothes and will intentionally leave stuff out for you to wear whenever you stay over at her house — and if you wear a size bigger than she does then she will buy that bigger size, spritz it with her perfume, and await her favourite sight in the world

her lockscreen is a photo of the two of you smiling in a restaurant on a date from pretty early in your relationship — it’s a tad blurry and overexposed because she may or may not have had a bit to drink before taking it, but because of how candid your expression is it’s hands down one of her favourite pictures she has of you. that’s why she hasn’t swapped it out despite taking many much better photos of and with you since then

if you wear a similar or larger size than she does then she will absolutely steal borrow some of your comfy clothes — either to use as pyjamas when you’re away and she misses you, or just so she has something to wear on laundry day when all of her stuff is in the wash

she tries to keep her professional life as a teacher and sorcerer separate to her private life with you (like people know she’s taken and happy about it, but not much more than that), but somehow her students know about you and ask how you’re doing pretty often — she blames gojo, naturally, but despite her initial complaints about the invasion of privacy she doesn’t mind too much

she always tries to meet up with you during her lunch break — or at the very least call you — because she prefers eating and chatting and gossiping with you over rushing through her meal and slowly whittling away at any paperwork she has left

she’s a planner at heart and tends to arrange any gifts, cards, trips, and parties well in advance of a given celebration — and good luck finding where she hides everything because she is remarkably good at keeping things well away from prying eyes when she needs to

whenever she’s on a mission she messages you at three key points just to assure you that she’s okay and everything is going well — when she arrives on scene with whoever she’s partnered with, when the curse has been taken out and she’s been able to get on her phone again, and when she’s on her way back home or back to wherever she’s staying if she’s on a mission further afield

Sometimes, the sorcerer world was overwhelming. You woke up in the morning, feeling like there was a brick on your chest and a pain in your heart, and the only thing that could possibly change it would be to run away and never look back.

Then you remember your gorgeous girlfriend Utahime, and it all gets just a little bit easier. Sorcerers often live short lives, you knew that all too well, and so you’d elected to make the most of the life you had. You’d asked Utahime to be your girlfriend without hesitation a few months ago now, half convinced she wouldn’t asy yes - because God she’s so gorgeous, why would she? Then.. she did. Much to both your surprise, and elation. You had a girlfriend. It felt childish just how pleased you were. The two of you were still very firmly in the honeymoon phase, and you were half convinced that you’d never leave it.

You couldn’t imagine this feeling ever fading.

You’d planned a date for the two of you, something simple that would get Utahime off campus and you out of bed to spend time with her. You’d been on a handful of dates together, largely centred around going somewhere and having food, so you wanted to do something different. You’d found a place that offered pottery painting in the centre of Kyoto, and figured that would be perfect. Simple, sweet, and you could laugh together about how awful you both were at art. It was a perfect date, at least in your mind. Then, you could always eat after if you wanted to, no reason to dismiss a second location out of hand.

It was only casual, yet you spent a little longer than you probably should’ve on picking out your outfit anyway, making sure it was perfect. It was no less than she deserved. When you picked her up, obviously you were right there to take her hand in yours, letting her walk on the inside of the pavement away from the road, away from the danger. You made an effort to be the perfect partner for her, at every opportunity.

Your plan was too perfect though, you realised as you sat in the quaint little studio. There was no such thing as a perfect date, you should’ve known better. Of course there was one thing you hadn’t accounted for. How could you?

“Yours is so much better than mine..” You murmured, looking between your plate and Utahime’s mug. You’d managed to paint a haphazard, slightly deformed looking cartoon squid in the centre, all wobbly lines and imperfect colours. Utahime, though? She’d painted a delicate sakura tree, branches winding around the mug, petals falling down from the branches, including painted inside the mug itself. It was cruel, really. “Yours is cute.” She replied with that soft laugh that always charmed you, made your heart melt in all the right ways. “Mine is.. disturbed.” You grumbled as you looked back down at the poor squid - octopus? - at the centre of your plate. “I like him.” Utahime declared, reaching over to take your hand in hers, fingers linking together. “You’re just saying that because you have to.” “No I don’t. I could tell you that he’s deformed and ugly - but I’ve decided I like that about him.” “Awh that- wait what!” The laughter that followed your realisation was far less delicate, all energy, and she even snorted, which only made her laugh harder, doubling over in her chair. Everyone else was looking at the two of you, judgement in their eyes, but you didn’t care. Nothing else mattered when she was this happy.

maki rarely ever calls you any sort of pet name, and when she does it’s exclusive to private moments between the two of you where she feels comfortable being a bit softer/vulnerable for a change

like the closest you’ll get to her using a term of endearment is when she introduces you to someone as ‘my girlfriend/boyfriend/partner’

or when she uses a nickname for you over your actual name… but again that’s pretty rare

that being said, the sparse terms of endearment she does use with you tend to be a bit more traditional — things that you’d expect to hear from an older person instead of a teenage girl

but, because maki is maki, she makes it work

‘sweetheart’ and ‘my love’ are the two she uses the most, and the only ones that don’t have her cringing at herself after she says them

nobara kugisaki

nobara pretty much never calls you by your actual name unless she’s genuinely pissed at you or if she’s being serious

(like when she wants you to stay well away from a fight she’s in with a curse)

and the pet names she most frequently uses with you are ‘babe’, ‘baby’, and ‘cutie’ (but the latter only really comes out when she feels like teasing you for whatever reason)

she does also slip in the occasional ‘pretty’ or ‘handsome’ too, but will only use whichever compliment you’re actually comfortable with

nobara is also not above lovingly calling you some variant of ‘stupid’ or ‘idiot’ or ‘dummy’ if you are, in fact being a moron — but she says it with the utmost affection and sparingly enough that it’s not too big of a deal

shoko ieri

shoko tends to freely cycle between just calling you by your first name and referring to you with whatever term of endearment that comes to mind

most of the time these pet names are more modern and casual to the ear

(like ‘babe’ or ‘baby’)

but when she’s trying to get you to do something for her — like grabbing her some more cigarettes from the store when she’s too busy to go herself — she leans heavily into the more traditional terms of endearment

like ‘sweetheart’ or even ‘love of my life’ if she’s really playing into it

(e.g. ‘could you grab X from Yaga for me please, sweetheart?’)

doesn’t mind what you call her, just be mindful about what you call her in front of her blue eyed best friend because if it’s something he finds especially amusing he will never let her live it down — and, really, she doesn’t need the stress

utahime iori

while she does generally just call you by your first name — especially in public and around other sorcerers — when she’s in the mood to use a pet name she leans towards the ones that feel more romantic/traditional-ish to her

(even if they are, in actuality, a more modern term of endearment)

think along the lines of ‘(my) dear’ or ‘honey’

and maybe the occasional ‘babe’ — but only maybe, generally speaking it makes her feel like a teenager when she uses it and she’s not so fond of that

she doesn’t mind when you call her that though, just as long as you’re not exclusively using that pet name with her

she only uses your full name when she’s really not happy with you for whatever reason — so that’s something to keep in mind

The soft, soft hands she takes such great care of, just for you. While bathing you, She massages your leg softly, careful to treat your skin with the utmost tenderness, eyes narrow and zeroed in on your body, a crease between her eyebrows in concentration.

You think she’s too uptight, she thinks she doesn’t do enough.

The soft silky nightgown hugs your figure just right, her hands do all the work necessary —As per usual— they move up and down your torso to smooth the fabric down, carefully chasing away any wrinkles —as if you’re heading anywhere but to bed– once her inspection is over, she rises to her feet, a satisfied smile illuminating her face. And god does she look stunning, the beautiful proud grin reserved for only you, when you complement the tea she made you; or when you visibly relax when her hands travel between the strings if her harp or the piano keys to serenade only you, just for your ears, your oh so tired ears after hours of sitting through meetings, old advisers taking and taking and talking-

Utahime has no idea how you manage to just sit there for hours and take it, an angel like you, if she had it her way your days would be spent relaxing with her in the garden, your head on her lap while her skilled hands move the plant stems around, creating a flower crown just for you, to finally nestle on top of your head, and watch you beam, rivaling the sun in her eyes; or if that’s too much to ask, she wishes your little wine evenings would last a little longer, you always let loose when you’re around her, but when alcohol joins the mix, you’re no different than an open book, wide open just for her, you laugh louder; you’re reactions are more lively; and you abandon every notion of personal space, that is her favorite perk, your delicate index finger underneath her chin, slowly travels towards her jugular vein, to settle on her collar bone and trace it gently, She lives for times like these, where she gets to dream that the strict social barriers that separate you aren’t there; where she doesn’t have to sweep her obvious displays of romantic affection for you under the rug of ‘her assigned duties’ ; where she doesn’t have to worry about the way that one knight looks at you, of the way the head maid’s hands visibly tremble when coming to close proximity with you, or the way the guards follow your graceful silhouette through the grand palace halls, it’s times like these where she doesn’t have to worry about the possibility of you reciprocating their pathetic silly little feelings, your lady in waiting knows for a fact that none of them can love you the way you need , the way you deserve, it’s times like these where she gets to lose herself in your adoring eyes and let the world go mute in the background.

Utahime yearns for this to be the norm. For every day to be stress free for you, and for you to hold her hand, proud and unashamed, but she understands that it isn’t possible, she doesn’t blame you for it either. But she still holds on to hope.

For now she will continue to make your tea; play music for you; bath you; get you read for and out of bed; and bask in the little touches you offer her every now and then.

Throwback to the now married Gojo Satoru and Iori Utahime's precious childhood memories.

The Gojo household is currently busy unpacking things and organizing their newly purchased home after deciding to move, realizing that their previous property has become smaller for their growing children. Their first-born son recently turned ten and has developed an interest in cooking. Naturally, their previously spacious kitchen has become too small for the additional cook of the family.

 

Utahime, the matriarch of the Gojo household, wants the best for their son to hone his talent. Satoru, being the best hype man and father, instantly purchased a bigger home. The Princess of the family, their daughter, also requested a bigger garden to play with their pets. No one can resist their pretty little daughter, especially Satoru.

 

Utahime is currently arranging the storage with her seven-year-old daughter tailing her in hopes of helping her mother when suddenly the little getting her hands into something pretty and interesting.

 

"Mama!" She chirped excitedly as she showed a familiar costume of a popular heroine of a famous anime. "I want to wear this one!"

 

"Do you know Sailor Moon?" Utahime asks softly as she runs her hand through the certain costume. The little girl nodded.

More than 20 years have passed but the garment has maintained its quality. It needs some fresh air since it was stocked too long in a box but with a few cleanings, and trimming of some loose thread on the hem of the skirt, the Sailor Moon costume is still ready to be worn.

 

She maintained and treasured the said outfit, making sure it would last long as it held a precious memory of her childhood with her husband. Since that day, she has made sure that the story about her special Halloween will get passed on to her grandchildren. Utahime will never be forgotten.

Utahime pats her daughter's head as she giggles. Grinning from ear to ear, the mother nods in approval. "Make sure to model it to your brother and father after dinner, okay?"

 

 

 

Thirty minutes before the start of trick or treat. The children, dressed in their Halloween costumes ranging from scary creatures to cartoon characters, were all excited to get their hands on the candies they could possibly garner for roaming in the neighbourhood.

 

At that very last minute, Satoru changed his mind about the costume he was currently wearing, deciding he did not feel like wearing the robot costume anymore. His mother and he had planned it for months already. Being the mom who knew her son too well, had asked the seven-year-old if he was certain about the robot costume several times and the boy answered yes every single time. She was stressed out as Satoru threw a tantrum about wanting to change into something else out of nowhere. The reason was unknown.

 

Satoru was left alone in his room as his mother had left to search for a new costume that could be available instantly. The little boy tried the tiger onesie he wore last year only to be disappointed as the costume was ill-fitting. Satoru has grown a lot since last year. A frown painted on his face, afraid to skip the event where he could get all the chocolates in the neighbourhood. However, he refused to wear the robot costume.

 

Minutes later, his mother arrived with a white box in her hand. She placed it on the floor as she presented it to his son.

"I managed to borrow this from your cousin." Satoru's mother showed the said backup costume as little Satoru waited excitedly only to be left disappointed.

 

"No." Satoru crossed his arms, tears threatening to escape his big blue eyes. If the robot costume was bad, the new costume was the worst. With that being said, the boy threw another tantrum which made his mother sigh.

 

"This is all I could get. Your aunt and cousin were generous enough to dig into their closet to get this costume." She tried to explain in hopes of persuading the crying boy.

 

There was no sign of giving in and it made her want to give up. Her patience was known for being long, always being praised for being able to keep up with the little brat's naughty attitude. However, someone like her has limits too. The boy managed to reach it.

 

With her arms crossed on her chest, she looked at her son sternly, showing how serious she was and that throwing unnecessary tantrums would no longer work. "You either wear your original costume or that Sailor Moon costume that your cousin lent you."

 

"I don't want to wear any of those..." This time, Satoru's voice became softer, his glossy lips were quivering, tears pooling in his eyes.

 

"Then you can't participate in the trick-or-treat."

 

The words his mother dropped were the signal for his tears to fall completely. His cries were loud. Being unable to join would be very disappointing for him. As much as his mother felt bad for the crying child, she wouldn't let Satoru get his way every single time he wished to. A series of rings from their doorbell echoed throughout their home, it was Satoru's friends. Everyone was all dressed up and ready to go except him who was still in his pajamas.

 

"You can't make your friends wait for too long. You should decide now. Would you wear any of these costumes or you won't be going? Make up your mind now." She told the kid one last time as she wiped the child's tears. "Do you like the robot costume?"

 

Satoru shook his head.

 

"Then your only option is the sailor moon one."

"But Sailor Moon is a girl. This is for girls." Satoru replied, a frown painted on his face.

 

His mother cupped his cheeks as she smiled at him. "It doesn't matter. You are still the cutest. Besides, it's Halloween, anyone can dress any character they like to do." She consoles her son. "Look at Shoko, she is wearing a grim reaper. Come on baby, Halloween only comes once a year. I will assure you that everyone will give you even more chocolates than last year because you look cute."

 

After the pep talk between the mother and son, Satoru decided to stop being stubborn and wear the costume. It was a new and awkward feeling for the baby Satoru to say the least. He was looking at himself in the mirror, wearing a school uniform-looking costume. A white top with a blue-collar, adorned with a red bow, a blue skirt reaching almost his knees, a red knee-length booth, white gloves reaching his elbows and a blonde wig with pigtails with the most important part, the gold tiara on the forehead. His mother was fawning over his adorable son.

 

Being insecure about wearing a girl's costume, Satoru refused to go outside his room. His mother was preparing the candies, leaving him alone. Suddenly, a soft knock on his bedroom dorm was heard before it opened revealing his friends. They all look great. He thought.

Satoru was waiting for them to laugh and make fun of him for looking ridiculous. However, nothing was said or heard. Instead, they walked towards him.

"C'mon Satoru let's go or else the other group will take all the candies." Suguru, who was wearing a pirate costume, told him as he took his hand.

 

"I don't want to... I look funny..." Satoru replied.

 

"You don't. Don't be a baby and let's leave." Shoko, the grim reaper, added.

 

Utahime, on the side, observed carefully. Satoru looks cute in his costume, however, he feels insecure and discouraged to the point that chocolates and candies no longer work as persuasion. She needed to do something so he wouldn't feel out of place. An idea popped into her head!

"Wait for me here, I'll be right back!" She runs swiftly on her Cinderella dress, on her way back to their home which was right beside the Gojo's. Asking for her brother's tuxedo and dress shirt which he prepared instantly, she quickly made a DIY mask using white cardboard with the help of her father. Thanks to her mother, she was able to change quickly from the Cinderella ball gown to a tuxedo. Her brother also gave him his favourite magician hat. Her mother simply pinned her hair, enough to make it seem that it was short as they didn't have any wigs for her.

Suguru and Shoko were shocked at her last-minute costume change though it looked perfect on their eldest friend. Utahime asked Suguru to let her borrow the cape that he was wearing since it was unnecessary for his pirate costume which the boy gladly did. Everything was set and all that was left was to meet Satoru.

 

Satoru's bedroom door opened revealing a boy, however, it wasn't a boy. It was Utahime.

 

"I came to save you, Satoru."

 

The boy's eyes widened, his eyes were sparkling, cheeks turned pink. Utahime, who was previously Cinderella, was wearing a Tuxedo Mask costume, Sailor Moon's love interest. The sweet girl changed her costume to complement his. That made him feel better as he no longer felt ostracized.

"Let's go!" Utahime extended her hand as she ushered the little boy to come outside and enjoy.

 

Throughout the trick-or-treat event, Utahime stayed close to Satoru, not letting go of his hand. Satoru's mom was right! The parents were squealing at Satoru's cuteness, and also at the two children's dynamic. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask ruled the Halloween event, garnering the most candies.

 

It was the best Halloween for Satoru and Utahime. The boy's worry has vanished as he had a good time, thanks to Utahime's kindness. As a remembrance, Satoru's mother took a picture of the duo, treasuring it forever.

 

"Our daughter wants to show you something," Utahime said as she sat beside her husband who was currently watching TV with their son.

 

There goes a child wearing a familiar costume, something that he treasures yet the source of his embarrassment as an adult. Satoru covered his face, ears turning red as a certain memory flashed in his mind. The embarrassment has yet to come when Utahime showed her children their photos that day.

 

"Oh my gosh, is that you papa?" Their eldest son was surprised at a little boy wearing the sailor moon costume. He tries his best to keep that album away from Utahime's hands. Yet, she always managed to figure out where he hid it. He can still clearly remember Suguru and Shoko laughing their hearts out. Those evil creatures.

 

The house is filled with laughter as they browse the photo album. It might be embarrassing but that was the day he realized he had a crush on that girl wearing a Tuxedo Mask costume.

 

A kiss on his cheek snaps him back to reality. Utahime knows she will get in trouble for it, hence, comforting her husband with kisses on his face.

"That won't work wifey. Better prepare yourself. In the name of the moon, I'll punish you." He simply replied, referrencing Sailor Moon's iconic line.

utahime’s laughter resounds in your ears as she curls up into your side, sighing contently when she does so despite the disbelief in her tone.

“i’m serious!” you laughed with her, smile growing as you searched for the folded slip of paper hidden in your back pocket. “look, here’s the proof… the star was purchased yesterday, see the date?”

utahime raises her eyebrow in faux suspicion, but the giddy grin on her face gives her true feelings away. she cranes her neck forward, examining the printed receipt to the best of her abilities in the dark setting. she hums after a moment, and you notice her smile stretching further across her face as she peers back up at you.

“alright, i guess you weren’t kidding,” she concedes, gently pinching your side as she does so. “i at least hope it wasn’t too expensive…”

you hummed confidently and waved a hand, causing her to bite back the soft gasp that threatened to leave her lips. “don’t worry about it, it’s your birthday gift.”

she grins again, her entire face beaming as she tilts her head up to press a kiss against your cheek. “well, thank you, baby, i love it… but i love you more.” she giggles, cupping your cheek to turn your head to the side so she can slot her lips against your own.

you both kissed like this for a few moments before you pulled away, wiggling your eyebrows as you held the paper up again. “it comes with a guide on how to locate it, too.” you mused softly.

utahime let out a snort, an impressed sort of noise as she raised an eyebrow curiously. “oh yeah? show me where this scorcher is, then.”

"alright, alright," you laughed, turning the slip of paper around in your hands to hold it up at the right angle. you close one of your eyes, tilting the paper left and right, until your lips curled up into the smirk you could no longer hold back. upon seeing this, utahime gasps again, playfully slapping your arm as she does so.

"are you just messing with me?" she asks through another laugh, one so infectious you couldn't help laughing along with her.

"okay, okay, you got me," you giggled, scrunching your nose up in a doting manner when she pinched your arm again. "it's actually a little harder to spot than it seems, i think we need a telescope for it..." as you speak you peer up at the sky, spotting a familiar constellation. "but it should be... somewhere between those two bright stars there, you see them?"

utahime nods, following the direction of your finger with a smile she can't seem to wipe off her face. "do you have a telescope?"

GOJO

♡ a white square box wrapped by a dark purple ribbon

♡ the chocolates are mostly round and some of them probably contain a little bit of alcohol (so little that even he wouldn’t get drunk because of it)

♡ the chocolates are hard on the outside and soft on the inside

♡ they’re just sweet enough for someone to accidentally eat everything at one go, if you know what i mean

♡ not too big nor too small, so basically perfect

♡ he probably didn’t make them himself, but you can’t tell because it’d probably look somewhat perfect either way

♡ he has a genuine, soft smile on his face as he watched you eat his chocolates

UTAHIME

♡ star shaped ones with strawberry flavoured filling

♡ theyre stored in a dark blue box and she definitely made them herself

♡ the chocolates are soft and melts in your mouth

♡ pretty sweet, purposely so you don’t have too much of them at once

♡ slightly on the bigger side since she had to fit the filling into them

♡ probably comes with a note/card and some stickers on the box

♡ would probably blush as you thank her with the cutest grin she’s ever seen

GETO

♡ plain dark chocolates in a rectangular shape in a black box

♡ the chocolates are hard and crispy

♡ he might add some sugar pearls on the chocolates too, who knows

♡ surprisingly, he probably made them by himself

♡ he probably had such a stupid smile on his face making them too because he was thinking about you

♡ would kiss you softly afterwards and comment on how your lips tasted even sweeter than they normally were

NANAMI

♡ chocolate with some sort of mochi filling in a sage green box and a white ribbon around it

♡ handmade for sure. he thinks you’re too special for store bought chocolates

♡ the chocolates are soft like utahime’s

♡ i feel like he likes matcha, and he’ll definitely make matcha flavoured ones if you like it too

♡ his chocolates remind you of home

♡ his arm is around your shoulder as you eat the chocolates, and there’s so much adoration in his eyes

Scary movies

Utahime loved the moments where you held her close the most. 

Before your snuggled bodies were flames dancing idly within the bricked fire-place that protruded from the wall. The warmth emitting in the air tickled your skin as you and Utahime sat together on the couch, your arms loosely wrapped around her waist as a blanket hugged your figures. Tonight was your weekly movie night where the two of you picked classics and faithfully binged them, well that is until one of you fell asleep at least.

“I wonder what’s going to happen next.” Utahime mumbled quietly with eyes the size of saucers as she stuffed a handful of popcorn into her mouth. A horror movie played on the flat-screen, the intense story-line managing to absorb both of your attention since the moment it started. You reached around to grab your own popcorn out of the bag, leaning forward as the suspense continued to build with each second that passed.

“Shh, no talking!” You whispered while putting a finger to your mouth and It took everything within you to stifle your giggle once you saw the annoyed look Utahime sent you.

“Huh? Don’t shush me, nothing is going to stop me from talk-”

A loud bang suddenly came from the TV causing Utahime to jump high in the air, a small scream falling from her lips as her hand flew to cover her mouth. She subconsciously leaned her face into your shoulder and closed her eyes as the scary scene continued to play, and you threw your head back while laughing loudly at her reaction.

“Aw Iori, are you scared?” You cooed teasingly while rubbing her back in cirlces, causing Utahime to grumble angrily against your skin before clutching her fist tighter around the cloth of your shirt.

“Oh, just shut up.”

You leaned down and kissed her forehead before moving your gaze back up to watch the rest of the movie. Utahime slowly peeked one eye open to catch the way your face glowed under the vibrant lights projecting from the screen, as well as how your jaw slowly moved as you chewed your popcorn. Her frowning lips steadily turned upward into a smile before she cuddled deeper into you, relishing in the warmth you provided her.
