FIRST AMV OF THE NEW YEAR! 8D Back in 2022, I happened to find this cool Harry Styles x ABBA remix by Altego (you can find here: tinyurl.com/3zh97xyr). Ever since I heard it, I wanted to use it for a mini Adolescence of Utena amv, and here we are 8) Hope you guys enjoy it! 8D

The rose petal dance in the movie is usually compared to the ball dance scene in ep 3, but I still can't stop thinking about the parallels with the night arena scene in ep 36.

In both cases the night full of stars is artifical and can easily be changed, but if in first case it's Touga begging Utena spend a romantic night with him and her doing it reluctently, in the movie it's Utena crying because he will never do it and lashing out about it while Anthy CREATING THIS NIGHT FULL OF STARS FOR HER while being like "Hey don't cry Utena, the prince maybe dead but you still can have all that fairytale night with me, let's just dance together and enjoy what we have"

Time for another side by side! This ones for my recently revealed #revolutionarygirlutena box! On the left you can see that I origionally only had the top of the box planned out😅I was gonna just leave the sides plain red like her shorts...buuuut then I was like “y’know what would look great? Golden roses on the sides cuz why not!” And it looked too plain for me to be ok with. 😂 also fun fact, the white ruffles were originally just painted on! And I know I know I left out the pockets but I did try! But they were just too much with everything else I put on the top so I just left them out.
