Idk where it is but I made a post about period cramps and cuphead. I was astroprojecting them into him cause I was reading myth and I thought he was a little shit.

I got the go ahead to schedule it yesterday. Now I'm just waiting for my doctor's office to call so I can get put on the books.
I'm very excited and also very nervous! 😆😅
Alright, this is new information to me but I wanted you all to know that period pain isn't supposed to be crippling
It's not really even supposed to be noticeable, the idea that it is came from male doctors, who only saw the worst cases, talking over women because they thought periods should be debilitating
So if your period is really bad, it is usually because of an underlying condition and you should definitely go to a doctor to get it checked out
They might not know much about what makes it so painful because the health of the "other" half of the human population is massively under researched, especially gynaecology, but they can at least give you pain meds stronger than you can get over the counter, mefenamic acid and co-codamol where the ones I was prescribed
I would also recommend looking into hormonal contraceptives because they can help with periods, especially the pill because that is well-known to be effective, you can still go for things like implants, injections and IUD but those have a 1 in 3 chance of making it worse so you know, pros and cons
But here's a link to look into it yourself and I would also recommend going to a sexual health clinics as they are the ones who actually know about this sorta stuff
I'm selling my uterus for one (1) Dorito chip. It doesn't even have to be a full chip, I'll take the crumbs
My body: *remains barren and childless for another month*
My body: this is so sad uterus, play the kill bill siren
Things have been going on and I've been neglecting updating. Allow me to remedy that...
Cut for length as well as talk of medical procedures
Got an appointment for an OBGYN
End of May.
I’m hoping I still have health insurance by then. That is AGES away in healthcare time FFS. 🤦🏼♀️ I know it isn’t an emergency (and I am obviously not pregnant), but ugh. I don’t even know my schedule for the end of May. I know I’ll be in clinicals.
Blah.
