So in this world basically I am thinking of A/B/O as like, an add on gonosome that influences hormonal cycles (idk, I'm not a biologist I'm writing rpf) so like, a male alpha would have XYA chromosomes and all alphas have a penis with a knot, all omegas have the special vagina or whatever, and then betas just have normal penis and vagina.
Well Pecco is intersex, and he has some sex chromosome configuration like XYAXXB and because of this, Pecco has ambiguous genitalia (something between 4 and 5 on the quigley scale but with a full penis) and his hormonal cycles are FUCKED. When he has ruts, he has a menstrual cycle (and because of all the hormonal nonsense going on in him, he has endometriosis) and it's just a real mess
Also importantly, nobody knows about this. His parents and his doctors and nobody else.
So anyway, Pecco is at a sponsor event with Marc and things are going fine when he feels himself going into rut. Which is kind of typical for him cause his ruts are always irregular (crazy ass hormone situation to thank for that) but he goes to Gigi and is like "hey...I have um, a situation" and Gigi is like "not to worry!" and grabs Marc and is like "we'll get you a hotel room just upstairs and have you good as new" (Now, omega rights in this universe are Not Good so MotoGP teams are just allowed to have clauses like this where unmated omegas are forced to 'help' with ruts and for Gigi, he wants something to happen between them because if they become bonded in some way, then he can keep both of them much easier)
So Marc is down, they go into the bedroom and marc takes off his clothes, folds them, puts them in a drawer and turns around and sees pecco curled in the fetal position, sweating, suit pants looking wet. and he's like "hey pecco whats going on" and pecco is just like "help me to the bathroom before I vomit on the carpet" literally marc has to drag him in because Pecco passes out trying to stand and Marc is like "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON"
Then marc realizes that the wet on Pecco's pants is blood. Naturally, he tries to find it, takes off Pecco's pants and underwear and sees that, oh, Pecco has a vagina and he is passing huge amounts of blood and tissue and is definitely in trouble and needs help. but as he goes to get a phone to call an ambulance Pecco is like "no, nobody can know about this, just end the rut and you can end the cycle"
cue very unsatisfying sex where Marc tries to fuck him as gently as possible but at least once pecco cums the blood starts to slow. and then Marc takes care of him, washes Pecco gets him fresh clothes and water and room service of steak and whatever else is rich in iron, and after that they just kind of fall into an arrangement, fall closer together and then one day they decide "fuck it we should mate"
except that in this society, a pack alpha can challenge any mating that their pack members want to go into. all they have to do is prove that they can take care of the pack member as well or better during a heat/rut than the mate.
So vale obviously challenges the mating. Vale has a big pack, anyone in it can take better care of Pecco than Marc, who is clearly just using him. and Pecco is like, "come on Vale, please just leave it" but Vale is convinced Marc has just brainwashed him.
So they bring Pecco to the ranch with an arbiter (Marc gets to watch remotely from a nearby hotel room) and the arbiter injects him with a rut inducer and then it's time for the VR46 pack to show their worth.
So Bez, as the pack omega is there (with Celin who is Bez's mate but they are a free and wild pack so they share), waiting for Pecco to jump at him but Pecco is just falling out of consciousness, feverish, confused (rut inducers are rough on anyone, let alone someone with extremely irregular hormones) and then he starts bleeding. And Celin is like, "fuck what the fuck" thinks it's a horrible reaction to the heat inducers, strips him to find the bleeding and sees Pecco's vag and is like "oh wait...look at this." Cue absolutely nasty violations
Cele and Bez call in Mig and they are like, dude, Pecco has a pussy. He's got a period. Is he even a dude? Mig is like, "he's a woman if he has tits." grabs Pecco's chest and squeezes hard as shit. Pecco still out of it groaning in pain cause Mig squeezed way too hard. Mig laughing "shit, he is a woman, he has tits, feel Bez!" Bez feeling, squeezing too hard. Pecco weakly slapping his hand away.
THen they are like, "fuck we need to do something about him bleeding everywhere." shove gauze and paper towels into his vag and between his thighs as a makeshift tampon and throw him in the bathtub. Cele jokingly asks if it would be normal to finger him since it's like helping one of the boys jerk off and Mig says that Pecco can't be one of the boys anymore since he's "part woman"
And after a few hours of vile comments and rough groping (during which time marc is breaking a retainer watching, unable to do anything to help) Vale comes in to check on everything. They all proudly show off their discover at which point Vale pulls out Old Misogyny. Grabbing at his dick and inspecting his vag and saying shit like "if I had known about this I don't know if I would have let him into the academy" like it's a joke. "You have to appreciate Marquez's dedication to ruining my legacy, it's commitment to fuck this thing"
Pecco is bruised and half-exsanguinated, tears mixed with sweat, sure he is hallucinating because His Friends, His Brothers and Mentor would never do this to him, and finally the arbiter speaks up. says "clearly you cannot take care of Mr Bagnaia better than Mr Marquez and have taken no steps to actually resolve his rut despite it's detrimental affects to his health. You are lucky I don't report you for pack abuse" and a team of paramedics take Pecco away
Marc is there waiting for him, Pecco is leaning back against him as the doctors give him IV fluids and reversal agents and inspect the bruising they did to his genitals and Pecco is high smiling at Marc and asking if they get to be mates now. And Marc is taking him home and putting him in a warm bath with salts and wrapping him in fluffy towels.
But then the next day comes around and Pecco begins to remember. Doesn't bring it up but he knows once he sees the bruising that it wasn't a hallucination and just asks to mate that moment, and Marc agrees.
Fast forward to the next race and Bez goes to the Marquez motorhome, where Pecco has now moved in. Alex answers the door and is like, "what do you want" "I want to apologize to pecco" "Oh? What are you apologizing for?" "You know." "Yes, but I want you to say it."
And Bez gets huffy and is like "I only owe an explanation to him" and Alex, of course, second in the Marquez hierarchy after Julia (~omegaphobia~ sorry marc) is like "well, he's part of MY pack now, so I get to dictate who comes to see him" (~more problematic patriarchal structure~) and then Bez spits at him. All hell breaks loose. The media gets wind of it and speculates about the rift and why Pecco mated with Marc and if it was coerced and so on. And Alex makes a comment in the press that "someone was forceful towards Pecco, but it was not my brother" and then the video is leaked (remember, it was being recorded for court records and streamed to Marc)
And the backlash towards Vale is insane. Ducati drops VR46 and all the sponsors leave because in this society being a good pack alpha is Important and because alphas hold so much power, almost nobody is looked at for pack abuse yet here he is and even worse, he's losing an Alpha to an Evil Omega like Marc. What Pack Alpha takes care of his other alphas worse than an omega could.
But Vale is coming out and saying that no, everything was a joke and people just don't understand their pack and Julia is coming out and saying "Pecco has been my son in law for less than a month and I know he would not appreciate those jokes, they've known him for over a decade, how could this be a mistake" and yeah. just a mess.
Even Luca distances himself from Vale, says he can't even recognize the man in that video.
