I now can’t help but imagine CotIG Poe has some connection to the VFD..I don’t know how...but CotIG Poe would definitely involve himself in anything where ‘Pistachios for Everyone’ is a possible thing to be said. Which is weird since several of Poe’s works (albeit some not the most well known) primarily feature Arson, and fires. The Black Cat, Hop-Frog and that one about the Hores I can never remember how to say or spell. They’d an M a Z, I’m pretty sure it ends in Stein and there’s a G somewhere....I digress. In honour of my re-read of ASOUE, and becausee whenever I watch/re-watch/read/re-read something I become TOTALLY obsessed with it, I decided to draw on my own V.F.D tattoo. I'm actually quote tempted to get this tattoo when I'm old enough, because ASOUE was really my first fandom. My parents bought these books for me so in an attempt to get me reading at a young age, and I'm proud to say it worked. These books are beautiful in every way, shape and form, especially when they FUCKING DESTROY those gender sterotypes. So in honour of these life changing books, here's my V.F.D "tattoo" :)

I realize I reblogged a post about the new ASoUE series, being like wow I still love the Lemony Snicket books and am slightly obsessed with VFD. I wonder if people know. Then I remembered my tumblr icon has never changed from VFD and my blog title is “The World is Quiet Here.”

A Series of Unfortunate Events is like the most amazing book series and i can't understand why is so underrated. I mean yes, the movie is bad, but the books? They're incredible!!!!!! I'm still trying to figure out what was inside the sugar bowl.
