He is tall and lanky like a willow tree. He obviously takes after his mother with his mostly brown pelt. However, parts of his body are darker than normal. His illness has caused a heart shaped mask to form upon his face and dark stockings to crawl up his legs. Alastair’s eyes are a golden amber like his father’s.

It is a mix between black and brown, but more black shows than brown. The brown is more of highlights that spread throughout his fur. Eadric is the only pup in the litter with heterochromia. The left eye is a deep blue, and the right a golden amber like his father’s. What is most striking about this boy is his stumpy tail, which is due to a birth defect.

Appearance Description: Anastazia resembles her father’s pelt more than her mother’s. Though both parents are brown in color, her father’s is lighter and has an almost reddish appearance in the sunlight, which matches her own. She has taken markings from her mother, but some have been twisted in their own way. First, a dark brown almost black mask appears on her face. Both of her ears are also dipped in dark ink. Her front left leg has a sock of the same color, and finally her back right leg sports a stocking of dark brown almost black coloring. Light brown lays atop her shoulder blades. Her tail tip is dark brown almost black. Lastly, her eyes are the golden amber of her father’s.

Nerissa →  Water Nymph with incredible power who was known for her destruction.  She is a lot more kind than Val would be, but her murderous ways of dealing with emotion are pretty reminiscent.   Drabble after leveling a town

Nora Mesa →  Woman with a very high and cold demeanor who finds herself in charge of the lives of many people whom she keeps an interest in, via logical and scientific means.  Drabble of her way of thinking.

Nara →  Young princess turned Queen when her father was murdered as a prisoner of war.  She was a leader in times of battle, and in charge of negotiating the lives of her subjects against all others outside their city.

BASIC CHARACTER INFORMATION

Desired Character’s Name: Valasca Age: 51 Species: Mermaid of Strength Titles/Aliases: Queen, ‘the Valiant’ Home: Sea of Strength Relationships: Truce with Ophelia and Artemisia, all others to be determined in RP Three sentences (min.) on their personality:  Valasca is a leader who thrives on the things she can do for her people.  Witnessing what can happen when a ruler is far too caught up in their own interests, she does her best not to emulate her predecessor.   She believes in a strict way of life, and does not tolerate those who do not agree.  She is a big believer that you’re only as strong as your weakest link and makes it her duty to strengthen every link in their chain.   For what rules she has on her people, she’s doubly as strict with herself.  She holds herself to a high standard that even those close to her say is a bit much, but she doesn’t mind it much.  As Queen of her people, it’s up to her to make them thrive and keep them safe.    Her softer side isn’t shown much and usually only seen to those who’ve gained her absolute trust (not an easy feat).  She prefers, however, to shower her people with tough love and they have learned over the years of her reign to recognize the little things that she does as a showing of affection. PARA SAMPLE

(At least 2 paragraphs, 300 words minimum, in character, third-person narrative):

The blade was swift and the sound echoed through the hall.  Valasca sat on the thrown of her court, as the snake spy was executed before the leaders of her country.  The monster wasn’t able to do much, their methods of keeping him contained were both brutal and effective.   Small chain with spears to his scales, making it impossible to pull himself free without ripping his own flesh and far too small for him to change forms.   The body wriggled as the fool made noises of strain and protest. Pitiful, begging to be spared.  It stopped moving shortly after it’s head had been removed and she immediately turned her gaze to those sitting and observing.

“It is not the spy that worries me,” she said, seeing their heads turn to look at her.   She kept her voice commanding and informative,”  There are plenty to be found throughout our waters.  No, what worries me is how he managed to get so close without detection.”    Her eyes moved from one to the next and she could practically feel them tremble when she gazed upon them.   They all knew what would happen if she learned they had a hand in aiding anyone against her, and although she didn’t believe any of them would do so, she had to be careful.

She rose from her seat, hands in front of her folded and adding volume to her speech she continued,”  Now.   This could mean one of two things.  Either I have the wrong warriors guarding our hall, or we have our own snake within our ranks.”  She started to move toward them, more to pace than to be menacing, although it was likely that they didn’t see a difference.  Her mood had darkened, and neither of her two options proved better than the other.  She’d been careful to train her warriors for such things and if they were the problem it was not just a failure on them, but a failure on herself.  If it was a traitor, well, it went without saying the extent she would go to find them and deal with them.
