Arwen and Este?
Arwen is one of my favorites! She’s kind but also brave. I’m only going fromthe movie standpoint here because I (shamefully admit) haven’t read the Lord ofthe Rings books .___.
I still think she’s an awesome character and a great power female of thestory. She, like her foremother Lúthien, made the decision to give up herimmortality because of her love for a mortal man. I think that’s a sweet lovestory, even though she does face the consequence of death that her people don’tusually experience.
Estë is another character I haven’t thought about much, but maybe I should. She’s an important Valië, one who heals all the hurt and weariness of people. That’s an awesome gift if you ask me, to take away the pain from someonesuffering, but such a gift can be a burden sometimes. I think that’s especiallyso after the whole Flight of the Noldor and the Kinslaying in Alqualondë. Sheprobably had a lot of elves to tend to.
Thanks!
Sendme a character for an honest opinion!
