1. What is your name?

“Vassanna Nabeshin.”

2. Do you know why are you named that?

"It’s a combination of great-great-grandparents’ names,” she said with a shrug.

3. Are you single or taken?

“I’m with someone, thank you.”

4. Have any abilities or powers?

“I am a Jedi, so yes. Though if I’m being completely honest, I wish the Force had seen fit to gift me with the ability to heal.”

5. Stop being a Mary Sue.

“A what?”

6. What’s your eye color?

“Violet.” (Theron will tell you they’re violet with grey flecks in the middle and a ring of amethyst around the edge, but he’s not the one answering.)

7. How about your hair color?

"Black-brown. It depends on the light, really.”

8. Have any family members?

"Many,” she said with a chuckle. “I’m the middle of five children and I have more cousins, aunts, and uncles than I can count.”

9. Oh? How about pets?

"No. My life’s a little to busy to have a pet, unfortunately. Though tookas are pretty cute.”

10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like?

"Fried foods that have been reheated -- they always get soggy and gross.”

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

“I tend to take my lightsaber apart to tweak settings and such fairly often. I do enjoy exploring crystal formations, too. Ilum was beautiful for that -- and the sky.”

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?

"Unfortunately, yes.”

13. Ever… killed anyone before?

"I am a Jedi, charged from a young age with defending the Republic. And now I’m the Commander of the Alliance. So yes. Far more than I would have preferred.”

14. What kind of animal are you?

“What kind of question is this?”

15. Name your worst habits?

"I bite my lip a lot. I pick at my nails and cuticles. And Theron thinks I compartmentalize too much.”

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

“My parents, my mentors... anyone I’m shorter than.” There was a brief pause. “Okay, I’ll stop trying to make jokes. Next question?”

17. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?

"Bisexual.”

18. Do you go to school?

"I had a formal Jedi Academy education, as well as a complete study of Mirialan culture.”

19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?

She glanced down at her wrists and a small smile flitted across her lips. “To be honest, I never thought I would. But yes.”

20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

"Fangirls and fanboys? No? I’m certain I can fan myself if it gets too warm.”

“Losing someone I care for. Failing them, failing those who depend on me.”

“Leggings with either knee-high boots or flats. A tunic or sweater, depending on the weather. A crystal necklace that was a gift.”

"Cookies. My uncle makes the best cookies -- they’re sweet and just a little bit spicy and perfect!”

24. Am I annoying to you?

"Not at all.”

“All right. Please continue.”

“My family is considered upper-middle-class, but... I’m not certain about me, being a Jedi and Commander of the Alliance.”

“I have a large number of acquaintances, but only a handful of people I’d consider ‘friends,’ with whom I can be completely honest.”

28. What are your thoughts on pie?

“Mmmmm. Yes, please. With ice cream, thanks!”

29. Favorite drink?

“Tea. Oh, I love tea.”

30. What’s your favorite place?

“Odessen or Tython, out in the meadows. It’s so peaceful, so still.”

“Besides my husband? No.”

“I’ve been told that there are no stupid questions.”

“Probably a lake -- I’m not the strongest swimmer and it seems less intimidating.”

“Intelligent, funny, kind-hearted, humble. And pretty eyes.”

"Outdoors. Though... isn’t camping usually done outdoors as well?”

One thing that always bothered me about fandom discord servers is that there's no real dialogue going on. It's just a bunch of monologues masked as debate. If there is finally a conversation going on, someone jumps in after 5 messages with something completely unrelated and kills it dead. No one really cares what the others are saying.

That’s very true. I believe it’s the same irl and everywhere tbh...

But really the platform itself is not made for deep and long conversations, it’s made for “let’s talk about something else today” type of content. 

The best compromise - platform wise - would be a small fan board. You get archives of all discussions, a normal pace (threads have time to flourish) and multiple sub boards like channels on Discord

5. Manatees. One of my dream vacations is to swim with them. I saw one on a business trip last month and started yelling in front of all my coworkers.

4. Jellyfish as long as they’re not close enough to touch me. I think they’re beautiful.
