Saw Thor: Ragnarok on Friday and I LOVED every minute of it! It was such a fun ride I can’t even put it into words. But I’ll try:
The Grandmaster is so wonderfully eccentric and just SO extra, I loved watching him just being there as well as interacting with the other characters. Jeff Goldblum did such a great job portraying him.
Korg won my heart the moment he appeared. He’s such a heartwarming being. Just every scene he’s in - he wins it with such ease. Big heads up to Taika Waititi for that one!
The relationship between Thor and Loki, just how it evolves throughout the movie was great to see.
Hela and Valkyrie are both such badass women in their own ways. It’s absolutely fantastic to see women portrayed so strongly in movies. Congrats Cate Blanchett and Tessa Thompson, well done!
Fenris. He’s so beautiful even though he’s bad.
The entire way of storytelling is just fantastic. The mixture of adventure, action and humor makes it so very enjoyable. Thanks you to Taika and everyone who was involved in the creative process behind that.
And not to forget the music. The soundtrack/score is completely on point. It makes the ride even better. Big ups to Mark Motherbaugh for creating such a masterpiece!
