Summary: Vampires live freely among humans. They quietly coexist and hardly ever kill their victims, instead they usually appear as drunken one night stands or that one guy you made out within at the bar who gave you a very painful hickey. The only limitation put on vampires is that they cannot touch someone who is pure in thought and body. (i.e. Never touched themselves or had sex) In today's society that's not really an issue, but sometimes those people are worth the risk. After all, pure blood tastes best.

Phil is a vampire, has been for around ten years, but he's stuck at 19. He's always been able to get into bars or wherever it was easiest to get a fresh source of blood. It never mattered to him what kind of blood it was, blood was something he had to have, and whichever way was easiest was fine by him. Until one night he met Dan.

mmmh…I have way too many, but they are a mess ^^’’ they are more like random ideas I really wanted to add to the comic, but haven’t done yet. Anyway, HAVE SOME: 

-Phil wears his glasses not because he needs them, but because he thinks they make him look more human 

-When Phil discovers Dan only has two outfits, he starts to buy way too many clothes on the internet, (yes, he’s a vampire, but he has wi-fi. Try to think of eternal life WITHOUT the internet) most of which ends up being too colorful, with idiotic prints, and one of them is a wolf onsie. Dan ends up wearing them anyway. INSIDE the house. 

-after a while they live together, Dan starts to treat him like pack, cuddling, scenting him, nuzzling into his neck while watching tv and being EXTREMELY over protective, it makes phil really happy, but he doesn’t comment on it, cause he knows Dan would straight out deny it

-Phil hates his nature, and won’t feed until the very last moment. When Dan realizes it, he gets really angry, and worried, and starts to keep tabs to make sure phil doesn’t starve himself

-Since he became a vampire, animals are scared of him and this makes phil very sad, cause he loves them so much. The only animals that still approach him are birds, especially owls, so his house is full of birds feeders

-Dan can transform into a wolf at will, but when there is the full moon, he has no choice. He never transforms in front of Phil, still reminiscent of the bad experience he had with his family that treated him like a monster for it, so when the full moon comes he leaves the house. Phil finds him, and stays with him the whole time, treating him like a very big, fluffy dog. Since that first time, during the full moon they run around and then sleep together under the stars.

-Phil misses sugar. A lot. So Dan buys him a shit load of scented yankee candles that smell like candies, even though they make his nose itch.

-when phil starts to feed off Dan, Dan gives him his arm. Phil doesn’t push him, cause he thinks the wolf is too scared to let him bite his neck. Truth is, Dan is keeping him away from his neck cause his neck is REALLY sensitive. When Phil accidentally discovers this… he takes advantage of it. A LOT. 

aaaaand, I could go on forever, but I think it is enough for now! I hope you like them ;)

“What the hell are you doing?” Dan’s amused voice nearly made Phil burn himself when he almost dropped the straightener. The fae was laying on his stomach in bed, his wings finally having melded into his skin although it was still ripped. Despite the scars and other reminders of what had happened the bruises had faded and the cuts had healed. A light that had been missing for so long had returned and his lazy, sleepy smile seemed like it came easily. “How long have you been awake?” Phil asked, turning his chair to better face Dan. “A while, you seemed so focused,” Dan chuckled. They had been staying with Louise still until they could find a place together. Phil was uneasy about returning to the building he shared with his coven after what happened to Clara and Dan looked ill every time someone mentioned going back to his own flat. “Creep,” Phil stuck out his tongue and Dan laughed. “There is a perfectly good mirror behind you. Why straighten your hair all crouched over in that terrible camera when you can use the mirror?” Phil raised his eyebrow and stood up to position himself in front of the mirror. As soon as Dan saw his reflection, or lack of reflection, he hummed and nodded. “So that’s another true rumor,” Dan pushed himself up on his arms. “Why can you see yourself in the computer but not in a mirror?” “Well, people used to say it was because mirrors reflect your body and soul and we didn’t have souls so…no reflection. But, it is also because mirrors have trace amounts of silver in them and we don’t react well to silver,” Phil shrugged. “They also used to use silver in photography so we didn’t show up in pictures really until digital stuff. So…I can see myself in computers and digital stuff.” “Is that when you got creative with your look?” Dan asked. Phil held up a finger and went to the closet. Most of their belongings had been moved into Louise’s spare bedroom and he managed to find the small box after a bit of searching. Dan moved up into a seated position as Phil joined him in the bed. “So…here’s a picture of me during the war,” he pulled out a worn black and white photo and handed it over. He was wearing a uniform, helmet on his much shorter hair and his face coated in dirt. He was smiling slightly up at the camera but the exhaustion was obvious in his eyes. “It’s the last time in a while I was able to get a picture of myself. When I was able to see myself again I didn’t want to see a reminder of that time. I colored my hair bright colors and wore things that made me happy and…I felt…hell, I finally felt like someone who could be happy,” Dan continued to look through a few of the photos, eyes soft. “Phil Lester, you are so much stronger than you know.” “Shut up,” Phil rolled his eyes but smiled as Dan leaned forward and kissed him gently. The vampire groaned softly as Dan grabbed him and they fell back onto the bed with a thud. For a few minutes they just smiled at each other, tracing fingers lazily on each other’s arms. “You would look really good with a tattoo,” Dan mumbled. “Would I?” Phil laughed. “Should I also get a piercing? I don’t think I could look as good as you do in them.” Dan let out a loud laugh, the light glinting off his tongue ring in a way that made Phil’s stomach clench. Yeah, Dan pulled off piercings really well. “You know, I do my tattoos myself,” Dan raised his eyebrows and a sly smile spread across his face. “Seriously?” “Yeah, all fairies can do it. We used to tattoo frollick symbols on ourselves to show who was from where but then…I kind of put Muse covers on me and lyrics and my people got pissed but, hey, if I can put things I like on my body then damn it I’m going to do it,” Dan sat up. “See, I’m going to do one inspired by you.” His brow creased and his fingers lingered over his own wrist, a few inches before the swirling lines and geometric designs that snaked up his arm. A faint glow lit from his fingertips and Phil had to look away as the light grew brighter and brighter. “There,” Dan’s voice sounded breathy. On his wrist was a perfect replica of the tiny enamel pin that rested on Phil’s bedside table. It was a small mint green cactus in a pink pot, a cute little smile on his face and yellow flowers. It was absolutely adorable. “That’s amazing,” Phil breathed, running his finger over the skin. “Fae have always been able to alter nature, I guess we are included in that,” Dan shrugged and looked fondly down at his tattoo. “I bet you are too. Can I?” “Can you make a replica of your wings on my wrist?” Phil asked and Dan’s eyes softened. His fingers were always warm on his skin but when the light started glowing it raised to an almost painful heat. Phil let out a soft hiss before the light faded and Dan gave him a smile. On his wrist was a perfect tattoo of Dan’s wings, the colors vibrant and the lines firm. There was no pain and only warmth was left. “It’s beautiful,” Phil breathed and Dan smiled shyly. “What else can your magic do? Could…could it bring people back to life?” The faint smile that was on Dan’s lips faded and he looked up with panicked eyes. “You’d…you’d bring her back?” “No!” Phil took his hands and shook his head wildly. “Not her! I meant me.” Dan relaxed quick, letting out a breath. “Oh…you’d give up your immortality?” “For you, yeah. You grow old a lot slower than humans but you’ll still grow old. You’ll die one day and I’ll be stuck on this earth without you,” his throat felt tight. “I couldn’t do that.” There was a moment of silence before Dan leaned forward and kissed him gently. “If you weren’t what you were we never would have met. You got a second chance and you’re doing the best you can with that chance. Think of all the good you can do with all the time you have. Think of how many people you can inspire.” “I’m not anyone special, I’m just Phil,” he laughed and ducked his head. “Actually shut up,” Dan laughed and tapped his chin. “You are so much more important than you know.” During the war Phil had felt like he was fighting someone else’s losing battle. After the war he had been lost and afraid, knowing the horrors of mankind. The rest of the decades had passed in a blur of nothing. And now, now Phil had a purpose. Maybe Dan was right. Maybe he could make a difference. With Dan by his side of course.
