Rachel grabbed Puck's arm and dragged him upstairs to her room, slamming the door shut behind her. She spun around to face him, placing her hands on her hips.
"Are you a moron! Someone could have figured it all out!" She growled, throwing her arms in the air. She took a deep breathe, struggling to keep control of her thirst. Puck's eyebrow rose and he scoffed in disbelief.
"Babe, you're overreacting. How is what I said at all going to expose you?"
Rachel glared at him, and took a step closer, relishing in the way his heart raced and his blood pumped faster through his veins. She lowered her voice, in an attempt to mimic him. "'Rachel hates the twilight movies, I swear there isn't a day that goes by without her complaining about how they aren't like real vampires'. ....real, Noah..really? You might as well just hand me over to them on a silver plate!" Rachel clenched her fists and stomped her foot, ignoring the way the ground shook. Puck smirked.
"Was that deep voice you put on supposed to me?"
Rachel sighed, exasperated.
"You are unbelievable! Look, I'm sorry if I am being paranoid but if someone was to become even slightly suspicious then I'd have no choice but to leave, and I don't want to just yet. Not when I've finally found a reason to stay".
She whispered the last part, and glanced down, avoiding his eyes. Puck's face softened and he approached her cautiously.
"I'm sorry too. I promise to never mention the word vampire around anyone ever again. I promise. So...are we okay?" Rachel glanced back up at him and smiled, nodding slightly.
"Good. Now come on, babe. I can't kiss you with your fangs out like that"
